did anyone order/ or have the pocket spring and latex variant to these mattresses??
LHD,
I got to agree with you. The mattress is great. It looks like they have moved to a new line of mattresses, with no more 5 or 7 zone sprung versions.
I would also agree, it took about 5-6 days for the smell to dissipate, and now, I can only say good things about it.
As the poster of this deal - how do I expire it - since it is no longer valid? Does a moderator do this?

Sad to see they are cancelling orders. I guess the lot of us gave them quite a scare with our orders!

I love this 10" foam mattress. My joint problems have receded and the back issues are gone. Switching back to our Egyptian sheets (instead of flannel) makes a measurable difference to me not waking up sweaty. Wife no longer complains of being cold at night . Win/win!

The smell is gone for me (or we became immune to it). Recommend that new purchasers leave their beds to breathe sans mattress cover for at least 6 days to completely get rid of smell which is the only mildly off putting feature.
I emailed them this morning to ask where there 'up to 70% off' mattresses were:
"Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that we are out of stock of our usual ranges at present which were at the sale prices.

We are expecting more stock in about 4-6 weeks time, when the new stock arrives, the prices will reflect this."
Anybody else noticed the prices have now doubled in some cases tripled!!

Memory foam - or how to sleep in a 10 year old foam mattress, today!

In all seriousness, I have just replaced my memory foam mattress as I found it to be particularly uncomfortable. Having a small crater form around you makes it particularly annoying when you toss and turn as it takes a while to adapt.

Not sure how mattress toppers compare though...

Interesting. I had wondered about the pros and cons of these!!

Need to sort something asap my old futon is killing me,, !

Never having slept on one.. does the memory effect discourage movement at all? I imagined they would feel a bit like pulling a bike wheel out of a track.. or being sunk in mud.. a fraction more effort to turn, as by it's nature, there's a little resistance to overcome??

I've also read the materials used are slightly carcinogenic.. OK if your mattress/topper is all nicely sealed up in an zipper cover I guess. I wouldn't want to wrap one around my head and breathe in and out deeply for hours and hours... :x

Do doctors recommend them??

Off to do some googling... :whistling:
the deal may be good the product is the problem -- keep looking we cant do it wiyhout you guys and thanks for info about 1in and 7 cm helped me decide ---not this time
