You might want to take out "Game" and add in "Argos" to avoid any confusion

From previews so far its a run of the mill dynasty warriors game with the LoZ skins. Combat is button bashing with few combos (of the small amount of special moves) requiring any skill.

Can't wait to get my copy but still holding out for a UK special edition.

Same here. Limited Edition is the way to go.

am I the only one who is totally "meh" about this? it's dynasty warriors reskinned. perfect for fans of both series I suppose, but hardly what Zelda fans were asking for.

Not just you... I'm intrigued but at the same time disappointed.

How are Argos for canceling preorders? My temp case of special edition is with ShopTo right now but wouldn't mind moving it given the price.

No you're not alone. Since the game was previewed this looked a mediocre cash-in. Warriors series is probably the most grindy and soulless genre in my opinion but surely enough people like it for it to be going this long. I will be getting this becaue it is zelda and I am one of those morons who buy into the hype for zelda. Hoewver I am not stupid enough to pre-order it. It's not like this is one of those games which will not be available widely upon launch. I don't think any game is these days so yeah at least not that stupid.

I think the idea of preordering is to get it at a price that you don't think you'll be able to if you wanted to buy it on release day. It's not usually about stock issues.

This seems a decent price, but I wonder if we'll see cheaper from Games Collection etc. Still not sure on this at this stage, despite being a huge Nintendo/Zelda fan!

It's not like this game has delayed or replaced the next entry in the main Zelda series. This is a spin-off title developed by completely different people to Zelda U, which was shown at E3 and is scheduled to launch next year. This title isn't designed for Zelda fans per se but for fans of both Zelda and Dynasty Warriors. There's literally no reason to be disappointed with this game because it isn't being developed at the expense of any other game.

sorry to p155 on your fire folks, but this isn't a true Zelda game....merely a spin off.....and it doesn't look much cop in my opinion....

Sooner put the £30 towards the proper Zelda HD Wii U title 2015?

I understand why people don't want this game but there is no reason to be disappointed because they are making a new Zelda game and this game didn't delay the production of it. At the end of the day all this is to serve is fans off dynasty warriors and Zelda

I'm fully aware of the details behind the game development and that's not my issue - I know it's not delaying the real entry. As others have said, dynasty warriors tends to be grindy, soulless and cheap. I feel like such a game will detract from the magic that is associated with Zelda games.

What you find grindy, soulless and cheap is enjoyed by numerous fans of the series and it's why a lot of PC gamers were very happy to see Dynasty Warriors 8 make its way to Steam earlier this year. As for detracting from the quality associated with Zelda games, Eiji Aonuma is supervising the title so I'm sure that the game is more likely to be very good than very bad.
