got some good review and with 140W not too power hungry either. Good second set. Hot for this price. How come it gets cold?

Looks a good deal especially as its Play.com. Voted hot
#4
No-one's mentioned Quidco which by my reckoning is worth another £13 off...
#5
very HOT!

Does anyone know if this can be wall mounted?
#6
Do Huyandi make good sets? Would you recc. it over the Sammie on Pixmania a few days ago?

Right... I knew that...

I've been doing a lot of research since my youngest has just managed to smash the bedroom TV with a tennis ball... this is definitely the best deal around for 32", if you're not fussed about 5-year warranties or brand names...

I bought a hyundai 32" for the 2006 world cup (A321) and i'd recommend them. i believe that they're samsung rebranded afaik. great picture, good sound, good connectivity, nice GUI.

I think that's the Costco deal - need to be a member and have a Costco nearby.

I beleive the Hyundai comes with a 2 year warranty as well.

Great deal.

think it's this one http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/307317/white-samsung-32-lcd-flat-screen-tv/

white though not bad @ £310 but white probably out of stock in most stores by now anyway

Is this 720p or 1080p?

I work it out as £246.99 after 5% off

I think the Sammie at Pixmania at £300 is the best deal at the moment, no? It looks way nicer than this Huyandai one

you wont do better at the moment for £300 IMHO

this hyundai must be the ugliest tv i have seen in recent years. Has it got some kind of grey tartan speaker grille?
#21
The biggest downfall for this set is the lack of HDMI ports. A single port on a set of this size is pretty stingy. Good price otherwise!

Blimey - keep it in perspective, it's just a TV ......

and it looks alot better than my enormous silver 6 year old 32" Phillips CRT which I paid £1100 for!

you'd be surprised just how many people worry more about the aesthetics than the picture quality! :w00t:

The contrast ratio is nothing to write home about.

great deal. matches my car.

wonder if that cheap stand is still going at tescos.

"great deal. matches my car."

I have a Hyundai car as well, a 12.5 years old Accent 1.3Si and it passed it's MOT again yesterday - Hurrah! I love Beasty. :-)

Unfortunately my Grundig Xentia 82 flat 490/9 32 just gave up the ghost this evening, so I need another telly I think (not sure if it can be repaired) and spotting this Hyundai tv just put a nostaligic smile on my face.

But, what's the picture and sound like compared to my old Grundig [http://europeantv.com.au/mfw82-490.html] ? I'm a bit skint so cannot afford a lot but would like at least a 32''. Not got HD yet but do have Virgin so suppose I could, I have a Xbox 360 as well (that I don't use much though). One thing I liked about the Grundig was the sound, I play CD's & MP3's through it and even had parties that way and it was fine :-)

Any ideas?

Regs, Shaggy
