Great find. We are off to Portugal at easter and this will keep my 2 year old daughter entertained on the flight. I remember seeing this on dragons den and it looked like you had to pay to download the videos from the iteddy website, or can you just put your own videos and music onto it?

You can put your own videos and music onto it but you'll have to convert the videos to avi format.

Denise 76 is right. You can put your own music/videos on it. You get the convertor software with the Teddy on a CD. Its really easy to do.

3 of the 4 Debenhams reviews are positive.

Had a look at the 100 reviews at http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews153886.html.

All the negative reviews are from people struggling to download software etc. I'd guess that this is more a problem with the reviewers IT skills rather than the toy because others have no problem at all....

Same website, same toy different users.....:whistling:

Yes, i also read some terrible reviews just before christmas. I was looking at getting one from TJHughes at the time (around £20 i think they were) - but for £12 i think its worth taking the plunge.

Voted cold

Ones sold on ebay went as low as £4.09 with £6 postage, there is probably a reason these are so cheap.. nobody wants them as they are not very good according to the reviews

20% off code on MSE as well :)

Yeah the screens are tiny. And to be honest the Max volume is still very low without head set on.

Its a stocking filler, my little en got bored with it fairly quickly but for the price, cant really complain.

Ive added heat because its a good price for a reasonable toy, but thats all it is a toy. I think people expect it to be a lot more.

It should give me a few minutes peace in the car with my grouchy two year old so some heat from here. My friend bought two at £50 each but her kids love them so I'm happy to give it a try.

The ones in our B&M are Mr Bean ones and I really detest that character - he really gives me the shivers for some reason.

As I've posted already the reviews at http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews153886.html suggests to me that the problems may be user related...

Most reviews are either 5 or 1...It's can't be "not very good" if there are lots of 5s. I expect that the 1s are appearing on ebay..

That's still £10.09 for a used one when this is £12 for a new one. I wouldn't vote cold on a deal because of that. In fact I would feel bad voting cold on something just because I didn't think it was very good as a product. If a deal is good then it's hot for me. If I think something is bog awful I'd post my problems with it but not vote. Just how I am I suppose.

The reviews seem to be software issues. Mr shoe*gal is an IT genius so if he can't load stuff onto it then I'd have to concede that we had a duff one. Fingers crossed it keeps baby shoe happy.
