IAMS BOGOF Deal on Cat / Dog Food @ Pets at home

Pets at home are doing a ONE DAY ONLY deal on IAMS Cat & Dog Food

There is BOGOF on IAMS Cat Food 12 x pouches at £4.99 each

As pet owners will know, this beats the 2 for £5 deal offered by most supermarkets
(In fact Tesco's best deal on cat food at the moment is 2 for £6)

There is BOGOF on the Dry Cat Food 3kg bags at £13.99 each

(not a supermarket price beater, but still good value)

There are dog food offers as well but I am only shopping for cats.....
And free delivery for orders over £49, so I loaded up!

(edit - BTW This is online only)

The point I tried to make in return, is that I have posted this deal to demonstrate a money saving opportunity - not to engage in a political debate about the moral and ethical integrity of the brand.

Q: Do you save money when using the advertised deal?
A: Yes, a substantial amount when compared to other cat food products at other retailers.

Therefore, the deal has achieved its goal!
If you want to discuss animal cruelty, then visit the appropriate website.
Otherwise, just let people take advantage of the opportunity to save a few quid - after all, that is the point of the forum.

if you love your pets make sure your feeding them quality foods ... a little aims investigating will tell all as i have just discovered !!!!

I agree with the original poster - This website is called 'Hot UK Deals', NOT 'I want to promote my own agenda'. The iams cruelty website is a PETA website - a totally unbiased and independant view - NOT!

Lets get back to bargains and leave your 'I've read it on a website, so it must be true' mentality to other sites.

At the end of the day, my cat likes eating IAMS, it is good for the cat, and the deal is a good one. End Of!

You lot are a funny bunch - this is clearly a deal, have some heat. If you are concerned on a day to day basis about these issues, you should really do your own research on the net, rather than relying on the posts on a bargain site!

Good Deal, was a tad dissapointed by £4.95 delivery as i could quite easily go to my local store. last time i went i spent £30 on buy 2 get 1 free. so this is a really good deal even thou it cost me £20.

Cats love it, good deal,

All the protesters your better of hugging trees

Good deal voted hot although after the useful info linked to in the comments have chosen to no longer buy this brand.

Really disappointed to hear that some posts had been censored. It's the comments on UKHD that makes the site useful and the debates which make the site so interesting !

Once again I have removed the discussion from this thread. This is the deals section, and as such we want to keep it on topic, not letting the thread be taken over by discussion on animal cruelty.

This is not about censorship, the deals forum is just not the place for such debates. It just takes over the entire thread as we have seen above. If anyone wants to start a thread in the misc section to discuss this then they are free to do so, as that is the appropriate forum.

Any further off topic / discussion on animal cruelty posts on this thread will be deleted.

WTF!

How can highlighting how bad this food is for cats be off-topic? :x

Oh well, feed your cats this junk and live with the consequences lol

nearly zero nutritional value!

Many deals discuss the merits of the company involved, the product and possible alternatives so I dont understand why this thread should be treated any differently. The current top deal (a laptop) has sparked the usual laptop v desktop debate while not directly relevant, it can be interesting and informative for people.

You must know that posting anything in the misc section would get a fraction of the views and surely any information that may directly influence your decision to purchase the product should be allowed within the deals section ?

I love HUKD, please don't go all corporate on us !
