Also topcashback/quidco of 4-8%. This deal's been running a while but isn't well known, every week you can book on Monday or Tuesday for following Friday, Sat or Sun nights. Some hotels are £25 (all ibis Budgets, some styles and some Ibis) and some are £40 (e.g. Ibis London Euston). Elstree (zone 6 London) and Docklands (zone 2/3 London) are great value for around £23 after cashback. You can only book for the same week but it comes up every week without fail and no end date. Price is per night for the room only. You can book just 1 night, or 2 or 3.

You must be an Accor club member but it's free to join and also means you earn loyalty points towards future stays.

Can now book for the following weekend too, thanks bowdiddly.

Novotel:
12.12%
Ibis Hotels and Ibis Styles:

Same here.

Is this just UK, or on the continent (EU) as well?

Have left heat.
Ibis are overpriced for what they actually are in my opinion.I've stayed in around 30 of their hotels throughout France, Germany, Denmark and Italy.
The style of the hotel seems to be the same wherever you go, like a typical chain, you don't really need to guess what the hotel will be like as it seems to be the exact same as the last Ibis you may have stayed in:)

Does this apply to family rooms?

Don't think Ibis/Mercure do family rooms. Have tried booking with them before. You can have one child in a double room, meaning you have to book 2 rooms as a family of 4. They have a "half price on a second room for kids" offer. They wouldn't even make an exception for a tiny baby in a carry cot when we tried to book a room for 4 of us. Novotel do family rooms and are brilliant.

You can also use your Le Accor vouchers if you book a Novotel on the Happy Monday rate making it even more of a bargain.

Yes, just sign up to be a member then log in with your membership number and put MONDAY in the box where it asks for a code. You just need to search then for wherever you want to go and you will see if they have cheap rooms

Thanks that's really good to know as I got quite a lot of points as compensation and it drove me crazy trying to book various rooms. You definately can't book any of the ibis brands with them, annoyingly.

Can you book two rooms with the one membership number

This is on EVERY single Monday and Tuesday for the following weekend and the one after. It isn't a specific deal as it happens every week.

that's right. it can be reposted monthly and a lot of people forget/don't know/ignore it if they don't need it that week.

Absolute rubbish. It gives a reduced rate, you click on the link and the price shoots up again. Nearly booked something for £90 because of this. Seems to be designed to try and mislead?.

The cheap prices will only be for nights when there's plenty of availability. So you might have to try a few different dates to find the cheap rooms.

I've found these:

Sunday 21st:

Ibis Southampton Centre, £25
Novotel Southampton, £40
Mercure Southampton Centre Dolphin, £40

Their website is rubbish, one of the worst I've ever used. It's regularly unavailable for long periods, giving error messages, changing prices for no reason, not processing payments, giving you hotels for the wrong location etc.
I've found that the mobile version of the site (not the App, which has problems) is more reliable than the desktop version.

The deals are there though, you just have to be patient and maybe try again later if it's not working properly.

As I mentioned, the website is rubbish. The deals ARE there, but the site is so bad it can take ages to actually book the room you want.

I've just tried the Southampton one again through the deal link, and I get this message:

"A technical problem has occurred on our site. Please try again. If the problem persists, send us a message using Contact form.

Code technique : [2000]"

So I went directly to the Ibis site, instead of Accorhotels.

I logged in, and searched for Southampton on 21/8. Then when it showed the results I put MONDAY in the Preferential code box. It should fill in your membership number automatically.
I then clicked search again, and it came up with the offer prices - £25 for Southampton Central Ibis.

I was able to go to the final step before paying with it showing as £25.

The Ibis site, to book directly with them, which is working at the moment: http://www.ibis.com/gb/united-kingdom/index.shtml

Ive tried Blackpool before and not been able to get any nights cheap. I think its very popular especially during this school holiday period so will already be booked up hence no cheap rooms

Just booked Cardiff for two nights, normal price is around £90 a night, but had Fri/Sat for £80 all in. Although we have to factor £12 a day parking, that price will still do me!

Thanks OP!

Just booked Brick lane Ibis (4 star rating on Tripadvisor) for saturday night - £36 including all you can eat breakfast buffet for two. Sweet deal OP. All the better for being a rolling deal so I'll be checking in on this one regularly.

How do you get the cashback?

As Quidco, take you to the Accor Hotels homepage and there is no link to the Happy Mondays deal and the prices come out different.

Go to the normal site via Quidco, but use the code MONDAY to get the Happy Monday prices.

Or save the URL of the offer page, they go via Quidco to set the cookie, then go to the offer page.
