Iceland have all their BBq packs half price, 2.50 for the most part. Stock dependant on your local store, mine had loads left of the 26 piece Bumper BBQ Selection Pack which has
9 Jumbo beef burgers, 9 pork & beef jumbo sausages, 8 chicken drumsticks.

Other items that are half price are in the link, including marinated chicken thighs, 30 chicken spears, chilli and lime lamb chops and 1.6kg wings and ribs.

Went round to a friend's for a BBQ about a month back and they had a couple of these. Some of the the stuff is quite nice, apparently - I was stuck doing the BBQ so didn't get to eat much!

It will be dreadful. Truly dreadful.

I hope they're better than the Tesco BBQ packs we bought earlier this year, more fat than meat, they were almost impossible to cook properly with cremating the outside.

given the original price it will be normal amount my guess. Only if you buy like 50 forzen sausages for £2 will you get below average, and if your looking for more than 50% then you might as well get some fresh meat, defeats the purpose of a burger and especially a sausage IMO.

Tesco are very good about returning money if you are unsatisfied with the quality of food.I believe they will pay you back double the amount you paid in some cases.

Remember, nothing can ever be too low quality on HUKD. You are just too posh to appreciate it :)

The chicken spear things are usually alright, curious about the lamb chops though.

TBH I just don't post food deals anymore, its not worth the grief you get off certain posters. An example was Sainsburys ditched all their chilled BBQ food this week, was all a quid. I loaded up on ribs (were £4), bacon steaks (also £4) plus some chicken drumsticks etc. Thought about mentioning it here but realised half the posts would just be 'ergh, thats disgusting. Why not visit a real butcher' etc. and others would just complain because they ran out at their local/they don't live near one, so just didn't bother.

I don't understand this viewpoint, way I see itis if one person finds it helpful regardless if others moan its worthwhile posting, I don't really understand why people get offended by comments that people make about deals they post.

Granted I've never posted a deal here, simply because I'm not that good at finding them and when I do they are always already posted here :P but if I ever do even if only one person finds it useful then it's job done surely?

On topic I've bought theese packs at full price and while they are not great they are not terrible for £2.50 you can't really grumble.

Read a few chicken threads, you're virtually a nazi if you don't eat free range! Plus you also get people demanding to see your receipt, calling you a liar if you don't post one within the hour etc. Deals regularily get expired by people for no reason, just because they don't like what you've found, and there is no mechanism to stop people doing this (or even tell you who expired it).

Its just not worth posting deals anymore, well not food ones anyway.

Tesco are clearing out their frozen bbq packs as well - I went for the Morrocan Style Lamb Chops @a quid a go ... hopefully be OK as I know some of their bbq stuff is pretty gruesome.

Saw those too, and TBH the morrocan lamb chops were rather tasty. Well, we had them last year anyway and enjoyed them, I assume they haven't changed too much.
