You are welcome; also, if your local store is anything like the one I work at, Frinton, it will have lots and lots of boxes of Fox's 1/2 price biscuits.

Got a huge delivery of them in today!
#4
cheers, I'll go & have a look tomorrow!

Sainsburys have the Foxes large tins for £2.69 (was £8.99) and £2.99 (was £9.99) for two different varieties. They claim a 70% off but I think Sainsburys sell normally at a higher price than Iceland.

But they sell all the high quality, big branded items. So if they are cheap doesn't that make this hot?

yesterday they had loads including 500g tubs of KP dry roasted/honey roasted peanuts £1, 10 mini fish and chips for £1 and a box of my favourite christmas tree choc ices down to 50p! all part oh the half price xmas clearance, its well worth a visit. not cheap and nasty! a place where you can get a trolley full of food and not end up spending £100!

Cheap and nasty? Have you actually shopped there seriously?

I do my weekly shop there and I'm saving on average £40 / month than when shopping elsewhere (Asda). 90% of what is in my basket are branded goods - and the stuff that isn't (bacon, sandwich meat / filling, fruit, veg) aren't exactly things you can cheapen or make nastier than other supermarket brands.

Granted, there isn't as much of a selection which is a dissapointment, but I think I can live with that if I'm saving £40/month... and this shop is for a single person.

Doing my shop today actually, was nice to see this post. Hot.

What are you doing on a discount website then. Iceland sell the same brands as tesco, morrisons etc so your comment makes no sense.

Heat from me.

Agree, and why do people post such negative comments that are no help to anyone?

Heat from me, and I got Iceland vouchers for xmas ;-)

Heat added, thanks OP :)

Odd question - do Iceland sell fresh mince? I normally do my shop etc from Tesco - I do have a local Iceland, but to be honest I'm only in there to get party food.

Hot. Why pay more for branded products? Petit pois, yummy. I shop all over m&s, waitrose, tesco +sainsburys. If its not out of your way then its definitely worth a visit.
#20
I guess it is safe to go in there now that Kerry Cokeona isn't on the adverts anymore?
#21
Sounds to be worth a look to me. Thanks for posting. I think that Sainsbury's have the petit pois for 98p though if that is more convenient for anyone

From a person posting deals on Iron Bru and Dairylea Dunkers guess good food must be a bit of a shock then
Actually one of the first companies to remove artificial flavorings colourants and a lot of E numbers in their own brand products
