Not a bad deal for a decent amount of minutes and data (4G)

iD Pay Monthly SIM - £10 pcm plus £5 with Quidco

500 minutes

5000 texts

5GB data

Extra 500MB during the first month, and you can rollover your unused data from one month to the next

This is a rolling 1 month plan NOT 12 months, therefore only £5 quidco.

I took an ID mobile SIM, but cancelled it the following day.
They kept sending me bill letters: I kept emailing, calling, posting letters (all of which I have recorded, and referenced in each subsequent communication), they failed to cancel it despite numerous promises.
Eventually they passed the account on to a debt recovery company and hit my credit file.
So I'll be voting cold for every ID deal on here. Be warned, they are a shower of sh*te if something goes wrong.

Exactly same thing happened to me but no letter or contact at all - only found out when the bank did a credit check on me few months later and then refused me finance because of it! Their CS is shocking and when they said they rectified it all they had done is closed it and left the arrears on my record - absolute Idoits - lucky I disputed it with equifax and then it was finally cleared. Cold

I moved to ID when my EE contract was up. Had been with Orange/EE for about 10 years and they tried to justify the higher cost (more than double) by selling their customer service. I have to say that i'be been nothing but impressed by ID. I had to contact them when I was abroad and got through straight away and my query was dealt with quickly. I wouldnt actually have minded if it had taken longet as i pay such a small monthly amount so was delighted at the speed of response! Network coverage is great as well.

iD mobile refused to pay my Quidco cashback after I got a SIM only deal, so don't bank on cash back!!
#5
I was refused my cashback as well, plus they are total gits as the work on calendar months as contract months. So if they offer 3 months free and you take out a contract today, your first free month will end Feb 1st not Feb 27th. Before you know it, they're charging full price and it takes them two months to cancel a line.
#6
You can opt for capping instead of rollover, better option IMHO.
#7
Looks like this will be stone cold with all the negative feedback from previous customers. Better off with £18 a month with Three, 30GB, 600 mins, unlimited texts and £52.50 Quidco.

I've got a £5/M monthly sim for a friend with I'D mobile no issues so far. No over charge, nothing.

Am tempted to switch from Vodafone to them when my contracts up, unless Vodafone offer me something as great for £10/M sim only.

Hi The_IMF, all cashback offers through Quidco must be fulfilled by Quidco themselves so we would suggest contacting them to chase this up.

Hi Derek_Duval, the cashback on orders made through Quidco must be dealt with directly by Quidco so we would suggest speaking to them directly.

So do you offer cash back, if so I will 100% take it out but after seeing these two negative I'm reconsidering it?
#17
Avoid them

Caused me nothing but stress and agro and never even got a apology - Over a couple of pounds a month go to a proper company with decent CS

NOT £40 quidco, only £5 as it's a 1 month rolling plan NOT 12 months.

Thanks, was going to sign up then found out :( Still a good deal though, and my wife and mother in law use them and have never had a problem. Might still go for it as a stop gap if I don't find anything else. Cheers op.

It was resolved after I kicked off about the credit file, but thanks for trying to look like you want to resolve it now I've 'gone public'...

Oh yes, I posted them a letter, and they sent me an email saying they'd received it but were unable to open it!
They could not give me a reason why they were unable to open a PHYSICAL LETTER posted via Royal Mail. What a joke.

Hi Zippy422, All Cashback would go through Quidco as this was an offer they were running at the time. We would advise you chase this up with them.
