I've had these phones for about 3 years now, and they are pretty good. Think I paid about £30-£40 for them.

Don't mean to put a downer on this deal or offend the op, indeed it may be a good price for a dect cordless phone but I found 2 things after using these phones for 3 months

purchased from Debenhams for £32 for a triple set and returned due to, 1, loss of sound-the volume when speaking desreasing more by month, to the extent i could not hear my aunt who is pretty darn loud by the 2nd month. 2, the handset is great for decoration but practically the buttons are not only small and hard but also painful to push down on, i have very lady like thin fingers but if you have big chunky man fingers i can see that might be a problem pushing these buttons down. Also the volume on speaker phone is ridiculous, too low so dont count on it actually being able to be used as hands-free. Then went and bought the quad set from comet of the Panasonic phones at £68/- haven't looked back since:)

The above is just my opinion and if you find it helpful it makes it worth the time i have spent this evening writing it out however if u do not like what i have written please do not feel free to rip into me about it, grow up, its just an opinion,

Ditto. I found the sound quality of these phones to be very poor and although they look the part, the tiny buttons are a pain.

Like you, we bought a set of Panny's and there's just no comparison.

I to have these phones (set of 3) and I can honestly say that these are a pile of poo. Buttons to small, speaker phone to quite and the user interface is v.poor. Unfortunately I haven’t had any problems with these phones so ill have to live with them until I accidently drop one down the stairs and into the sink full of salt water. Here’s hoping!

Cold. Set of 3 for £18 in sainsburys.

I had these when they first came out and i can honestly say they were rubbish! Far too quiet and the buttons were too small. My house got flooded and did me a favour getting shot of those, now have a panasonic set and they are the best phones ive ever had.

The OH bought these about 18 months ago. (set of 4 for £50ish from Makro). they looked ok at the time (they look a bit dated to me now), but they no longer hold any charge at all, 2 mins off the stand and thats it, flat battery!

..I cant get caller Id either, not sure if Im doing something wrong though!??
Also one of the tiny bibbles (for want of a better word!) on the stands broke off within weeks, meaning that the phone now flops about.. The list of negatives goes on!

Needless to say I hate these phones!

..even Audry has got a set in her salon (Corrie), so it cant be good! lol

Absolutely correct.

Bought from argos after deal had good heat on HotUkDeals.

Regretted it ever since, but never really had the time to return them.

Buttons are FAAAAR too small and awkward to use. The base is very fiddly to return the phones on to. Look nice, but I would never recommend these to anyone. In fact, I only came across this thread because I'm looking for new phones to replace these!!!
