That spec is clearly for a different watch - surely they don't still make these?

I like this review best -

AMAZING - I KEPT SHOWING PEOPLE THE WATCH ASKING THEM WHAT THEY THOUGHT I PAID FOR IT. AMOUNTS FROM £50 TO £300 WERE GIVEN

Ah, mistake by Amazon. Yes, that review did make me smile. Still for that price I don''t understand how it can be cold.

When has Amazon ever listed a watch without a mistake in the description? Trouble is there might also be a mistake in the title. Then where are you? I have seen a lot of watches listed as automatic on various sites when they are only hand-wound mechanical. I think some vendors no longer know the difference.

I ordered this and it seems to be as specced. Unsure whether it's automatic as even automatics need to be wound when you don't wear them, so mine came with the spring mostly gone. We shall see from a few days of wear whether it needs wound or not - mind you, I don't really care much either way at that price.

The watch itself, by the way, is quite lovely and keeping good time thus far. Very chunky, though - best part of a centimeter thick and noticeable on your wrist if you haven't worn a watch in a while. I'm also inclined to buy a new strap for it as the brown leather one is fine but has a (mercifully subtle) reptile skin effect, and I'd like something plainer.

All and all not perfect but a good bargain and a very pretty not at all tacky looking timepiece.

It is automatic then. There is an automatic movement used in a lot of cheaper watches that is this thick.
