hmm, only any good for older kit it seems.
#4
Doesn't charge newer phones from reading the reviews... most probably because the device was released in 2005!
#5

Expansys have been around for years, I don't think you need to worry.

Unfortunately Micro USB has been set as the standard for new phones, so this is prob only good for older phones. Great price though, but that's prob the reason.
#14
Cheers guys. :-) Do you think this will work in the iPhone 4

These are great the tips alone sell for £4.99 each at Maplins. Have 2 of these all you need is an adapter from fleabay for 99p from mini to micro usb and you can charge all the latest phones
#22
Oh and don't forget 5% topcashback too

what about quidco?
#24
Presumably the stated voltage is selectable, but does anybody know how much current this outputs (amps)?

what about quidco?
Why not visit quidco.com and find out?
#26
There is a number bear the title, currently on 173. Click the red up arrow. :-) Heat added ;-)

i've had one of these chargers before. it was a really useful piece of kit , it can charge 2 things at the same time , either in car or from the wall plug. it is hugely over engineered product of very high quality, i cant believe they are on sale for this ridiculously low price. i think they also have adapters for using on plane and boat power supplys. its a real all rounder.
and no i didnt design it :-}

thanks!!
#29
haven't quite got the hang of this yet...
#30
89p delivered - they must be losing a fortune on these. Hot deal and one ordered.
#31
nice one, hot for me.
#32
Thanks for that, have just ordered one.

If this is the same as the old one I have, then the ratings are as follows...

Inout 100 - 240 volts 1.5A 50/60Hz
Main output - 3 - 10 voltsDC
Secondary output - 19 volts DC
Total power available is 15 watts, not a typo.

Bought my first one of these several years ago and they are very useful. The round connection to the output can be used with the much later iGo Everywhere which does just about everything - I' m doing that too. At this price, I couldn't resist grabbing one as a spare, not that I expect either of my iGos to every break down as they are quality gear.

It's now £2.49, but 89p if you buy through Amazon, except Expansys won't deliver it to N.Ireland.
