I believe because I have Henson audio and it's basically same just different name
I can only say the ones I received the headphones did appear brand new and the box was slightly damaged. Its the best sounding headphones I've ever owned, very pleased here.
Returns to them are paid and buying a bluetooth headphones is tricky so best to get it from Amazon with free returns. Still good price tho
But could also be used
B stock = open box, mine came as new in box :-) When I enquired with iheadphones they explained the headphones are actually brand new, but box may be damaged/open where it was damaged in transit (boxes at edge of delivery crate).

The folk on AVForums like them too: http://www.avforums.com/threads/best-bluetooth-headphones.1683045/

Got these at £8 too. The noise cancellation introduces hiss and you need to use aftermarket tips. They also feel a bit lightweight but ok as a second pair for spare.
Think I bought it when it was around £8. The noise cancellation is really good, really blocks the background noise down a lot. However the build quality is average, and feels kinda cheap in hand. But worth the price.

Probably because they are not the best and a lot of people can throw silly money at stuff like this, or people dont like the post. I found a cracking deal somewhere and people slated me for it because it would only benefit a few rather than the majority, but as i said the few who benefited it was an awesome deal.
Don't know why this has gone cold. No-one else selling the red and black ones cheaper. If they are please post the link and keep voting cold.

Yep bought a pair from amazon back in January. Not had any issues with them the only downsides are that the cable could be a bit longer and they get uncomfortable after about 2 hours use even now, was hoping they would have softened up by now.

That'll do for me. I'll order them before the rush.

Do you recall the model number of the Panasonic headphones? After an effective set without shelling out for some QC 15's,cheers.

They are Panasonic RP-HC500 and I'd recommend them. Very effective noise cancellation and hifi quality but I travel a lot and they are full size over ear headphones which is why I tried the DS101.

Edited By: Krosus on Jan 15, 2013 19:54
I found the earbuds to be very bulky and not a good fit. my klipsch passive noise cancelling ones are miles better for a similar cost.
TBH I'm tempted to have a punt at these! I spend too long in planes so do not need the call button ;)

read here

http://www.digital-silence.com/anc.html

maybe Krosus is comparing the noise cancellation by comparing the white noise levels - these do not use white noise as ANC

also iheadphones claim hassle free returns so if they are carp just return them !

Cost less at MyMemory when you take delivery into account.

Bought a set before Christmas.

Waste of £10 cause they are rubbish.

Not the same model. MyMemory says theirs are "Digital Silence DS-101A", while these are "Digital Silence DS102". See body of OP for the difference.

Yep. Noticed that myself when I checked the spec closer. The earbud section appears to be the same though and that's where I mark these down. The noise cancellation is crap and the built in amplifier seems to lack bass response resulting in a tinny sound with, for me, no noticeable decrease in background noise. I also have a pair of Panasonic noise cancelling headphones and these are an example of how effective noise cancelling can be.

Red the reviews on Amazon....
not too good , bought a set earlier in the year from Richer sounds Bromley when £59.99 was a good price)..the phones reduce background hubbub a bit ,but I found they worked best on mechanical noises ..engines droning and the like...

Great posts, valuable information. Wondering whether to get Goldring DR150s or these next.
Did you order black or white ones?

I saw the Goldring deal posted earlier, the reviews are generally positive, where you can find them, but the Beyerdynamic are often highly rated in the few reviews I've been able to find on headfi. I heard the Goldrings don't generally have a good build - the DT235s are pretty robust, all plastic construction. The cable is particularly thick (a bit too long), too. I did like the look of the white ones, but given that I planned to use them outside, and the fact the band sits above your head, I thought it was a bit much - plus white shows dirt up more - I went with black, but I would like to see the white model in the flesh...

Hope that helps!

Well, the more I listen to them, the more they are selling themselves to me. The description you have of the PortaPros I've read so many times, but not until yesterday did I go back to them and surprise myself with their lack in clarity, and bass heavy sound. On the right tracks that bass can be fun, but all in all, these DT235s are slowly convincing me that tehy are the real deal!
I get a slight background hiss, but only on certain songs, but I can only hear it in quiet passages. PortaPros have a bass heavy sound, so coming from them it will sound bass light. I was using some Sennheiser in ears that were bass heavy, but now I'm used to the DT235s I can't listen to them any more.

My stepson has the PortaPros and loves them, I find that they can't play the music I like very well, it sounds muddy and the midrange blends together in busy tracks and I can't pick out the separate instruments.

All that said, people have preferences in what they want from their headphones and there is no wrong or right, it's whatever pleases your ears.

Edited By: DaBear on Feb 05, 2012 09:57: spelling
So, I've received the cans, and have had them running constantly for a while. My impressions are as follows, and, as you may note from my rather amateur impressions, I'm no audiophile. The DT235s have the treble spot on. I haven't heard anything this clear from an overhead set of cans. They compare favourably, for example, with my Phonak PFE 112s on treble. The bass is just, ever so slightly, lacking. That said, I think my PortaPros have got me accustomed to a more bassy, doctored (Dre) sound. In terms of genres, Adele, Winehouse & Co. sound stupendous, but Pac has sounded fuller. I think I still prefer my PortaPros as an all rounder, but the DT235s are not inferior, just a bit more refined for my immature taste in sound. One thing I will mention is that some tracks I've heard have a crackle, like electromagnetic static. I'm not too sure if I've lucked out with a dud pair, or my files used for playback are low, but some Lana Del Ray just sounds staticy, even w/flac files. Perhaps they'll burn past that?

Sennheiser PX360BT Bluetooth headphones £129.99 delivered @ iHeadphones

Quality bluetooth headphones, retail elsewhere for £180+, on Amazon for £149.99 so this is still a £20 saving. Given a 5-star rating by What HiFi (http://www.whathifi.com/review/sennheiser-px360-bt)

yep, i have the MW600 also but still bugged by the cable from the headphones into the device and the setup time. Good alternative though
Another option is to buy one of these

and then you can use any headphones you may already have. Also works well as a music remote for your phone or connected to pc. Also has added bonus of being able to connect to pc and phone at same time so can be listening to pc sound but then switches over to phone when you receive a call.

Just another option you may be interested in

No, I didn't get them with the earphones, however they do have 7 ear buds with them including the ones they have on them, a couple of different types as well the standard ones as well double flange ones and another style which goes into the ear more than the standard types.

I would say they are really good going as far as saying that they blow all competition out of water. They are very well made build quality is excellent, they are quite robust and the connectors are well made so they wont break easily when the wire gets yanked around. The case they come with is quite nice and it is very useful.

These are more focused on mid level and treble rather bass oriented. So if somebody need heavy bass, dont buy these.

Also there is video on youtube (search it) which explains how to distinguish b/w original and fake one.

Often seen these for 10 quid cheaper on Amazon, fulfilled by one of their major partners. Own a pair and they seem legitimate.

But there are a lot of question marks about Marketplace sellers of Sennheiser being originals...

So this is by far the best price to guarentee it being the real thing.

Good price, but the Chat Volume lets them down. Bro got a pair and stopped using them after a couple of days as couldnt here chat over the headset properly, since upgraded to TB X11's but you get what you pay for.

True the X11s etc are better as you can independently adjust game and chat volumes.

But you can easily tweak the Skullcandys or XLCs to hear chat volume. Depends on game obviously but most have the option to lower game volume in the menus. I have XLCs as a spare to my X1s

I've just bitten the bullet and ordered a pair of SE530s............from Play.

I couldn't trust that, if I had a problem with iheadphones, they'd get back to me and the problem would get sorted easily. I also couldn't trust any of the Ebay sellers to supply genuine ones - having had a problem in the past.

I know Play get a slagging, but I've never had a problem with them - and worst case I know somebody who works for them..........

Now - I'm just having to decide whether to buy a new Apple player or go to a Cowon - but as all my music is currently in iTunes I'm not sure how best to export/import them into a different library......avforums are great aren't they? :)

Yeah, Paypal should cover me, fingers crossed. First time on eBay i've been caught out by fake or 'dodgy' seller(s) - by the looks of things.
Very Paranoid now. Can only wait and see, but seller has sold the same headphones, same photo just before Christmas - which makes me think he's just selling fakes. Also the grammar and ebay name isn't convincing.
