Good deal in theory, but it takes until way after 11am to muster the required motivation for an Ikea trip. At least in this house, anyway.

There's a catch.
You have to assemble it yourself.

You just pick one up and start using it in my store. Maybe it has to be registered first or something.

You can get a form at Ikea ( they have a stand with the forms in the restaurant section or just ask a member of staff where they are ) which gives you a temporary card to use until your permanent one arrives or apply online and wait for your card to come through

https://secure.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CreateUser?formName=familyUser&storeId=7&langId=-20&catalogId=11001&localStore=10098

They converted two of our local Tesco restaurants on Merseyside into Costas. The prices are through the roof now!

I love going 2 Ikea & doing the Zombie one-way walk - its the nearest thing you can get to being in a coma whilst still moving.

But these days I just use them for the cheap food if I'm in the area as there's nothing special about their flat-packs. Think their way-over-hyped and we fall for it.

IKEA converted your Tesco's restaurant?

One must have sex and then create a child

It's also a crap breakfast, worth only 99p. If u go during the week it is free hot drinks anyway with the card.

For 1.49 u get a nine item breakfast
#29
will this include the upcoming bank holiday monday?

The sausages in this breakfast I wouldn't even give to my dog. They taste horrid. The bacon is not a patch on the bacon used in places like Spoons for eg. The beans are okay I guess but the scrambled egg is quite watery.

Overall I'd get the vegetarian breakfast over this. I just ask for no tomato and they give me an extra hash brown.

The coffee is okay I guess.

IT'S ALWAYS BEEN THIS PRICE WITH A FAMILY CARD!!!!!
#33
It's classic Ikea tactics - some headline things really cheap in order to sell you stuff for much more than you expect. If you try to get a sofa there it always ends up costing as much as anywhere else. It's only good for student places - ie you throw it away a year later...
#34
It's 2 man assembly flatpack breakfast!
#35
There's a corner in the restaurant just near the tills where you can pick up half eaten breakfasts for bargain prices...

That's very interesting. A mill near me was knocked down recently and instead of a free eyesore they are now extraordinarily expensive apartments. And it's obviously all down to the Ikea 99p breakfast !!!!!!!

Move along people...there's nothing to see here. It's always been like this. In fact there are free-refills on caffeine, tannin and chocolate any time.
