Starts at 9:30, so join the queue along with shopers and local workmen.

At the Thurrock Ikea you can also go on to get free coffee and cake at Costco if you have Trade membership along with any samples they are offering on the day.

Appears to be at other stores, although not sure if all.

Oh no, Im lardy enough...hehe

Dunno why this is on as a deal as this has always been the case, but their breakfasts are amazing, with free drinks refills, so voted hot by me.
#4
99p sounds good.
#5
I'm suprised this is on a deal, thought everyone knew, been similar for years.

But is it still "Free drinks only mon-fri", just to warn people.
#6
Cold.
Sorry, but this isn't a deal as it's always this price.
#7
cant be great for 99p !!

Actually, for the money it's pretty good, but it's just not what can be classed as a deal in the HUKD sense of the word.

Not true, the last time I went to Croydon branch about a month ago it was £1.55 even for Family Card members.

I did search before posting and could not see anything mentioning before so thought it was worth posting.

Maybe not a deal in the exact sense, but still a bargain and could be useful to some who don't yet know.

Some people go for the 9 item breakfast, but personally the standard 5 is good enough to keep me going until lunch.

Always been this price. I like it when they run out of eggy, and give you 2 hash browns instead :)

Plus is it wrong to refill with soft drinks instead of the tea/coffee you're supposed to get?
#13
Just to let u guys know, the free drink is only like hot drinks. and yea the hot drinks are free mon to friday with the card anyways or before 10am without a family card. The food services of IKEA sell there food so cheap as they do not make a profit from it the idea is that it just brings customers into the store but the breakfasts are usually full of workmen not customers
#14
I think it is ok for the price, anymore and it just is not worth it. The sausage and bacon are ok, hash browns are ok too but the beans and tomato aren't and often the egg is just mush. The kids breakfast makes a better deal for me, 73p (or thereabouts) and you can choose 3 items. Get 2 lots and you can have all your favourites :)
#15
The 'scrambled egg' if you can call it that, is gross, but everything else good! :O)
#16
mmmm it's so tasty............flamin' hot man!

Some of the meal deals are good as well, their haddock and chips is pretty good and a lot more fish and less fat than many chip shops as it is oven-baked in bread-crumbs rather than deep fried in batter.

Thurrock offers :

Thanks OP - H&R added! I didn't know about this so appreciate your post!
#20
Good deal, but remember, because its Ikea, you have to make it yourself :P
#21
Thanks for the post whether it's a deal or not. :p

Years back you got a cheap breakfast in some of the department store cafe's and they gave you a free paper as well.
#22
Is it a set breakfast or can you choose what 6 items (looks like 6 items on the picture) they give you?

It's a set breakfast. If you pick the kiddies meal, you can pick.

Good tip, I will remember that next time.

Do you get a plastic plate?

Very Very Cold. It's Always This Price. Not A Deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#26
Had this at 10am this morning (actually had large one for £1.65) and was delicious. Keeps me full for the whole day and nice to have something hot on a cold day. My Ikea (edmonton) is like a toddler group in the morning as they've got a play are for the kids x
#27
What extra do you get in the large one?
#28
Used to be 99p ages ago but hasn't been for a while so this is good for sharing thanks. Haven't been to Ikea for a while but remember the egg was the only thing that was horrible the rest was yummy!
#29
Using the family card gets you a free coffee or tea, the catch: the cups are less than half the size than normal mugs and proper cup of tea means filling it up, three times.
This offer is on and off, not always on, and I expect is run at a small loss as you are getting what you pay for.
#30
Do you have to be a family to get a family card ?

Is there one for singles so they can get discounts ?
#31
Or, be really cheap, take your own big mug :D

I was thinking that, but the area under the mug to spill off area ain't big enough from what I recall, couple of plastic mugs in the handbag of the missus, done :)

Glasgow Ikea has the small cups you mention, but the Edinburgh one gives you decent sized mugs, wonder why there's a difference?

great bargain breakfast anyway

No you don't have to be a family - just pick up one of the leaflets you see around the store with the card inside it. That's all you have to produce at the till - no family needed! Use it to buy stuff instore as well for cheaper than normal.
#38
OK thanks.

Unfortunately I'll have to wait till they build a store near me. :-D
