Its been 99p for years for everyone not just Ikea Family members. When did it go up to £1.55?

You're making me hungry with this post, but my nearest IKEA is 25 miles away :w00t:
Meat Balls... thats all I am saying...
It's always been 99p i go there sometimes and am not a member, but I get to 99p Brekkies lol
93p according to your link.
Although as everyone has said it has always been this price.
It has changed (within the last month i think). It used to be 99p but now it has gone up to £1.55 unless you produce a family card. I have only been to the Croydon branch so it may not apply to all others. A clever way to get names and addresses of customers.
no longer available on a Sunday, and £1.55 on a Saturday.

"99p for FAMILY members (Mon - Fri only, £1.55 Saturdays), £1.55 for non-FAMILY members."

Still a great deal of course.
price changed 3 weeks ago in southampton but when you buy a breakfast the coffee comes free and you can top up as much as you like
In before the animal welfare activists..
just avoid the scrambled egg!....made with powdered egg, not nice!
Shame the entire thing tastes like s**t and P**s really, is as unhealthy as eating a tub of lard, and thats not even getting onto the whole animal welfare subject..!

Oh, and the fact that its not a deal. It's been this price for literally years, and has recently just gone up in price. Not a deal, spammed.
I'd rather pay a little more and have proper scrambled eggs, which currently are the most disgusting I've ever tasted) any properly cooked bacon (grilled).
Everything else is passable. Maybe we should start a campain? :)
I went into Ikea to kill some time when the car was being serviced on Saturday morning. Cardiff branch. They were flogging the breakfasts for 99p to everybody. I opted for the bacon ciabatta which was also 99p, and pretty good too, for the price.
It actually went DOWN to below 99p when the VAT was reduced to 15%.

What the FAMILY card holder deal used to be was the free coffee/drink Mon-Fri and that still applies per Ikea UK website:
"FREE tea and coffee in our restaurant ". Others only got a free drink before 10am when they were enticed into the restaurant/cafe as a holding area before the marketplace opened.

The change is that NOW you need a FAMILY card to claim the cheap(ish) breakfast. The Ikea website clearly says:
"From the 17th April the cooked breakfast will be 99p for IKEA FAMILY members and £1.55 for non IKEA FAMILY members (Monday to Friday only)" [ie full price for all at weekends]

There are actually TWO breakfasts on offer - the standard 6 item (as above) with 2 meat items but also a 9 item one at higher price so they have a clear opportunity at the till to catch the Wayne & Waynette Slobs who used to pile their plates at the Ikea breakfast servery (I've stood behind far too many at the Ikea in Bletchley!) .

I had one such Family card 99p breakfast only last week there - and have to say it left a 99p taste in my mouth. Cheap and worth what was paid for it, but hardly a tasty/enjoyable breakfast - though I do remember plenty of places charges a lot more for just a coffee (I had to make do with a hot chocolate as BOTH the coffee machines were bust!).

nice one cheers:thumbsup:
Awesome - TY OP!!!!

Its a good deal but remember because its IKEA you have to make it yourself, lol :P
ooo for £1.55 you cant reall go wrong just had a look and it looks really nice !! hot from me!!
pretty decent if you're near to one, espec. for students.

i don't expect the nutritional content is fantastic tho!
Can I get some clarification on this?

The link says

"Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, hash brown, beans, and tomato for only 93p. Add 3 items and pay only £ 1.61.
And enjoy a cup of tea/coffee with unlimited re-fill for only 73p"

But you're all quoting 99p. Just the record, I don't care about 6p, but I wonder where you'll all reading from.
