OK I am not expecting much heat for this one but I have had my eye on this furniture for a while so was happy to make a saving! Just a heads up for anyone else in the same boat.

if it was £132 for whats shown in the picture it would be a bargain, but a its a bit steep for a bookcase.

The range isn't very cheap but you can't really get similar elsewhere for a better price (just put that pic to illustrate why you would buy the bookcase because it is part of a good storage system). I would agree it's only really a deal if you were looking to buy it anyway... first time I have seen it reduced in 6 months and I have wanted this stuff for ages.

I can appreciate you can get a variety of cheaper bookcases from different places but the equivalent product in Argos is £179.99 and does not have the option to add doors or buy a matching tv unit.

You can see how exciting my Saturday night is ... actually arguing the case for an Ikea bookcase

I have liatorp bookcase. This is made of solid wood and not mdf as Billy bookcase. Hence more expensive. I bought one without doors, wanted to add doors at that time but for some reason wasn't able to. Things may have changed now.

You can get normal doors or glass doors for about £50 per pair and you can add them on to the bookcases
