sounds like a miss price or store specific, was at warrington store last night and looked at this exact tap, no price reduction (except a sink for £79 instead of £180) unless it's been done today

very very hot deal,

If somebody can buy this I would be happy to pay postage plus a pint or two
#2
Add me to the list - I'll happily pay postage plus a few quid for your trouble if you pick me one up.

Was in Ikea Warrington today to buy some kitchen units and they had the mixer you mention (100cm version). Wasn't reduced to £17 pounds though, they had it on offer £170 down to £70. Only my opinion but I thought the 100cm version was a monster (way too big), liked the 45cm version but there wasn't any price reduction on it.
#4
It says £135 on that link. £17 is a good price but I wouldn't pay £135 or £170 for it at all!

This is less than £90:

I thought that was for the sink (probably me getting mixed up)

sounds a bit high thoough doesn't it? a metre high :? great price tho

Not being funny chaps but brought this some months back and never looked back (refer to link and not ikea one)
I always see these taps and think wtf are they so expensive. it is simply that we all want taps like this and so they make them bloom expensive .. tho the one i have is as great , it does the same. Also the one from Lidil had a 5 yr warranty

me too - i've always wanted one of these
#10
same here i'd pay a nice amount if someone can get me one of these. thanks :)
#11
I got one at £25 but its HUGE - 1 meter tall - so I took it back. At the time they had 20 odd in stock.
I am quite willing to pick some up for people - but postage would be around £8 as it would probably be cheapest to send it by one of the couriers rather than royal mail.
#12
sounds good to me
#13
O0ps, You have a message.

I need one sent to me, please.

Pretty Please??
#14
Hi i am very interested, let me know if you can get and i'd be happy to send you the money + postage+ something extra to cover your expenses. We are getting kitchen done next year and these look great! thanks
#15
I fink they look awful, who would pay 170 quid for one, each to their own i guess.
#16
I picked one up in Birmingham about a month ago. Just happened to be passing and fancied breakfast!! The store was selling several items at 90% off. It' s fantastic quality but not the prettiest mixer tap I have seen. Thought I would get another at Wembley but no such luck. It was £170 there. Bristol is too far. Hot deal.
#17
Anyone who lives in Manchester, if you can't get the Ikea one, there's a guy on the Sunday market at Smithfield that has these for about 50 quid
#18
is the 45cm reduced as well? i would like one..
#19
Just but aware that the cheap versions out there don't last too well. We had a £50 version installed about 2 years ago and we are already have trouble with both the quality of the flow and the temperature. I guess it's the cheap parts they use in China. I would guess the £170 IKEA version is a different league though.
#20
Has anyone else found this for £17? Don't fancy a trip to Ikea in vain.

Good price! But at 1 metre high with a spiral bit ripped out of a notepad, it's just plain wrong

If you're spending £170 you'd be better off with one of the Franke pull-out spray mixers. The hose is weighted and concealed under the counter top when retracted; it's much cleaner looking, but a bit fiddly to fit if you're replacing an existing mixer in-situ.

Couldn't agree more with you. The ALSVIK in Ikea is a nice example of a pull out mixer, saw it Friday, only 10p change from £100 mind you!
#22
I managed to pick one of these up at Bristol 2 weeks ago for 19.95. I wish I had bought 2!
Do not compare it with other examples shown here as this is a more solid and robust tap.

Its not a metre high! 1/2 a metre as it loops around.

if that's the case if someone could pick me one up i'll happily pay the p&p & a little bit extra for your time

100 cm does look a bit strange it would be the first thing someone would notice in your kitchen! at least you could shower your baby in the kitchen sink lol

Well, if its only available in 1 location, then yes.

I'm sure we can all come up with some great deals from remotely located stores, out in the country somewhere. But they only become a great deal if the deal is available to many people.

It is a great deal, I think, but Ive voted cold because it isnt available in or around London (where I live).

I certainly would've bought this thing, but the price is not £17 at my local Ikea.
#36
I can pay some pence extra if anyone can kindly pick this up for me please. They're already packaged ok and I'll get a courier to come around and pick it up if that's convenient.

Please?
