We have this - very comfy, great value -- just a massive pack to put in the car!!

Good deal, although the original price is good anyway. I'm not sure I've seen this in IKEA before, but from the picture the legs look a bit nasty.
#3
Looks good for the money!

always makes me laugh when you get someone who has severely underestimates size of car compared to stuff picked up
#5
shame theres no matching range
#6
Good price. Ordered three!

It does not seem to mention colour in the description or have I missed it among all the information overload (i.e foam desities etc)
#8
I couldn't see a reference to the colour also. But have seen it in the store and it's black. As long as it arrives like that too!
#9
Just bought two for delivery, postage was 35 quid though arghhhh.

Thanks OP:)

Not black, dark brown
Legs are silver tubes, about six inches of the ground (was worried about how strong they were, but nothing to worry about)

My only gripe is that it comes with two rectangles that sit on the inside of the arms, to make them a
bit thicker - but they are not fixed to anything, so can topple over. A bit of velcro would have solved it, but I guess I'd have to add my self.
@royals - BTW, car was big enough (just), don't have the luxury of or access to another car. But glad I made you laugh. That's the important bit.

Don't forget, it is plastic, not leather..

Eeeeewewwwww!
#13
It's not plastic?

In the OP it says leather and when i serach leather sofas on Ikea, this is in the leather section so i'm confused,i don't want plastic sofas, surely it must be leather ?
#14
It's leather

made of 'split leather' + plastics

info about split leather from somebody that seems to know (or knew where to copy ) what that term means :

''Mike 08-05-04, 11:15 AM
Cow hides are thick. The hide is usually "split" which means that the thickness is sliced into two pieces, making nearly two sheets of leather. One sheet of leather has the "grain" or what used to be the derma - the side that had the hair. This side is called grain leather or top-grain leather or top-side leather. This is the strongest and premium quality hide.

The "split" is the underside of the hide. It has a suede look on both sides top and bottom. The leather is not as strong as grain leather and is nearly impossible to make water proof or even water resistant. Split leather is OK for some garments that do not require strength or integrity.

It might be OK for a saddle covering over another piece like a gel piece or foam under the leather. Split leather looks nice when it is new. It is fuzzy and soft. Unfortunatly, split leather eventually mats and gets a kind of dirty shiny look. ''

Well, the sofa I have is shiny, nothing suede about it at all. It certainly looks like leather to me. Not the softest, I admit, but good enough for my needs - four kids, 7 and under. I think it'll stand up to that kind of (ab)use!!
#17
At that price, even if it lasts a couple of years with abuse from the kids it's all good
#18
bargain !

colour is dark brown , as stated on the ' enlarge pic '

Heat added

Hopped on a train yesterday to go look at it,i like it,brill for the money :D
#20
hey, debz - glad you liked it. How about describing (colour, quality, feel, etc) it from your POV? Might help those who are still on the fence - they wont last long at this price, and would hate for people to miss out!
#21
For the price it's obviously not as plush as their more expensive ranges BUT i thought it was very comfy when i sat on it.

The colour is defo a dark brown.

The reason i went for this is,because i currently have an expensive suede sofa and it marks so easily that i hate sitting on it lol

When my nephew is here i don't like him sitting on it incase he makes it dirty,so with this i won't have that problem, can wipe it clean without it leaving watermarks etc like my suede one does if you're not super careful with it.

lol - you sound like you want this sofa for slumming on (we bought it to improve ours!!)
#23
