Hi all,

I've been waiting months for this to get to a decent price the lowest I've seen it for is £22 second hand at Gamestation and on Amazon.

I saw it today in Tesco Homeplus in Preston for £20, but decided it was still too high and regretted not buying when I got home. Checked online and it's the same price. This is reduced it £17 when using the all too familiar FTSL15-1 code.

Quidco is also available at 8% (tracked at £1.36 bringing the price down to £15.64) and the deal gives 40 Clubcard points.

Hope this if of use, Paul.

This is now unavailable for PS3 online.

Agreed, but I have checked a number of times for this game and it's the lowest I've seen it yet. Didn't crash in price like many games do, even after all this time since launch. Worthwhile getting the Thrustmaster Flight Stick to enhance gameplay and cheapest deal is at link:

I think that maybe it didn't sell enough to crash in price? I'm glad I waited now and quidco tracked at £1.36 so £15.64 isn't too bad.

I was thinking about a joystick but it's not my usual type of game (pretty much why I waited) so I don't think it would be a good investment (for me anyway).

Paul.

Will have to drop to the £9.99 mark before I consider it. I have loads more games to play.

Never gonna happen. The only true flight sim on the PS3, so it's not really gonna reach a dropoff point where the price just gets silly cheap. It will be out of print before the price drops, then the price will just get very silly (ie, extortionate!) This happened with The Godfather, Soldier of Fortune that I can think of off the top of my head. Just look at other lesser flight sims on the PS3 (Blazing Angels and the like) they demand at least a half decent price years after release.

Seriously mate, for 15 sheets this is steal. One of the finest examples of a console game, on both the Xbox and the PS3. The gfx are truly stunning.

If your in any doubt, I voted hot!

You're probably right. I have about 20 unplayed games at the moment so can't expand the list any more.

lol, you sound like me! Not got as many as you unplayed, but still half a dozen or more untouched. I only just got around to playing Fallout 3 the other day, and planned on trying a few others, BIG mistake! Fallout 3 has got it's hooks in me now, awesome game.

Seriously though mate, i reckon this will never get below £15 (new) for at least 18 months or more if ever, and if it goes out of print, you'll be paying at least that for it second hand. I play it projected on the wall about 10ft diagonal, and it makes me queasy it's so realistic! lol

I thought I was the only one who hadn't got round to playing Fallout 3 yet. My copy's still in the shrinkwrap, along with half a dozen others.

Nearly bought this in Game a while back just to use up a voucher I had from christmas year before last (only way Game's prices come close to online prices). I gave up after waiting in the queue for ages as the one assistant on duty bumbled about trying to work out where they kept the discs. Gave up in the end and walked out.

Does anyone know if Game vouchers go out of date?

Hey dunfyboy,
I don't think they do.
At least I hope not, because I recently acquired about £30 or so worth of a Game gift card (not by choice, however), and the klingon at the till told me that the credit is valid indefinitely, of course, until you actually redeem it to spend.

And the crappier part is that if you do have yours in the form of a Gift Card, these suckers are not valid for use on the GAME website - they can only be used in-store. :(

Hope that helps.

I was waiting a while for this game to drop in price but it just seems to be disappearing so I grabbed a copy while I still could a month or so ago. It's not bad although the full game was fairly disappointing, while the gameplay combat works well the mission structure remains very basic throughout the game and doesn't advance past the complexity of the levels within the demo (and in fact is usually more basic than those)

Why do you have to justify your purchases (out of your money) to your wife?

The amount of times I see similar posts on this board is unreal..talk about women wearing the trousers now in relationships...its getting embarrassing!

To stop them expiring you just need to do a balance enquiry once a year. Just take it up to the till ask em how much is on it.
