I know Jeremy Clarkson says public transport stinks however, I don't think this product is going to solve that problem...
Who did you order from.Neither Currys or PC World do home delivery on this. Really annoying, tried every store in London- they shouk say 'out of stock', so time wasting !
Can never seem to get anything from them- and even when I once managed to reserve , the later emailed me a day later & told me, No Stock LEFT !!

No. this is a 1 to 5, not 5 to 1
Actually I'll bet that it's simply five sockets and a plug connected in parallel, i.e. it would work in both directions. However, I certainly wouldn't recommend trying this especially if you're using headphone outputs because you will get short circuits which might fry the headphone amplifiers. What you ought to be doing is putting some resistors in series with the output of each feed. There's no need for this device if you can solder.
Or does this have battery power to amplify?
Doesn't mentioned anything about batteries.
