£23 at play must be half decent

If it's the same as listed here http://www.i-luv-uk.co.uk/iAD217ITL.html then it doesn't appear to be suitable for iPad.

Why is not? To be honest I don't have any Ipad/Iphone/Ipod, as I'm Android man but it is compatible with any USB plugs, which is important for me. The other advantage for me are the international plugs

Got one. Looks good as we're always messing around on holiday with everyone's devices (Android, iPod, satnav) and a mess of wires. Thanks OP.

If its the same as the one dooper has a link to,then I agree,it won't charge an iPad.
The iPad needs 10 watt charge, this looks like it will only do 5 watt....ok for iPhone and iPod,but would take forever to charge an iPad.

If it will charge an iPhone then it will charge an iPad but, depending on its power output, may just take longer. iLuv blurb indicates that one socket can give 5W and the other two 2.5W each. It's not clear whether, if you only use one socket, then you can get the full 10W out of it. If not then, as iPad charger is 10W, it will take longer, but I suspect if you put it onto charge overnight then it will still be ready by morning. Seems a bargain for under £5.

Warning - Just received mine and the design is unsafe. Outside the US it has to be used with one of the supplied adapters. Unfortunately when you pull the unit out the wall the adapter stays in the mains sockets. There's a point when small figures could easily get between the unit and the adapter and touch the live pins joining the two. Take care!

MrFizzy is correct. By default it is 2 pin US, with a slide on adapter for UK / Europe. It isn't secured, but should be ok for adults to use with care.
As for the charging, there is a socket at the top, ringed in blue, that says 1A/Fast Charge.

I plugged my iPad2 in to there. And it said it was charging. Don't know how fast it would be, but I guess if you leave it overnight it should be ok.

To stress it, I plugged an Android phone and a Blackberry into the other 2 ports at the same time.

All 3 devices reported as being charged. Like I say, don't know how long for a full charge, but they do charge.

If you keep in mind the safety bit, I think it's worth 5 quid.
