I bought something like this a couple of years ago.
It was rubbish.
If you go for one of these, and buy instore, check it out in the car park before you drive off.
I suspect you would take it straight back.
So, like my heater, I'll vote cold. Sorry.

Cold as well, car takes a few mins to warm up, about the same amount of time this pitiful heater would take to warm the car
#4
erm...yeah I don't get it my car takes about 2mins to start getting decently warm air out of it....

I had one about 8 years ago , it blew the fuse and took it straight back , a good 200watt one draws about 18amps

this is a poor 75 watts - my fart produces more heat

Agreed, although I have to say the 200W version that I bought from cn-ice.com is still rubbish. You have to change the cig-lighter fuse to 20A but even so, it was rubbish. Bit like a barbie doll's 1.5V hairdryer

Must agree with others who say these are rubbish, had one of these a couple of winters back. It was noiseless operation after it started blowing fuse cos the heater bit was knackered.

Sorry got to add my pennies worth!

What a load of rubbish bought one from woolworths the other week its sat here waiting for me to take it back.

Has anyone actually seen this model in action or know of anyone else who has tried it? Does anyone know of an effective similar product on the market?
My heater is working but no fan - would be soo handy to have something like this in meantime.

I bought one of these for my girlfriend as the heater in her car is not working and it is absolutely rubbish. It has started to melt the wire so she has stopped using it.

I will try and get hold of one of the ones that truckers use
