Seen these on DealExtreme and bought 2 pairs :D, they are rated 5* on there so expect they are good.

Delivery is free, last thing i ordered from there took about 10 days from when i placed the order.

The review says the only con is that the end that goes into mp3 is straight.... but so are my ones for the iPod and i think they are fine.

Feel free to heat and rep, thanks.

There's great for the money (i.e.better than the white ipod ones) but don't expect miracles.

I bought two pairs of these headphones about a month ago based on a reviews and also someone recommended them on this site, but I am afraid to say I was very disappointed as the sound was so flat, hardly any bass, so I basicaly just gave them away.

I bought a pair, then got a replacement and both pairs were utterly useless, a complete waste of money, time and packaging - I just put them in the bin.

Having never bought anything from D-Extreme I worry most of the stuff falls into that category :)

thing is, if ur buying sound insulating earphones, its probs cos u want better sound quality, so why not do a bit of research and spend a little bit. if ur gonna get cheap earphones, i.e £2 ones, ur gonna be looking for the kind of earphones u can wear and talk to people at the same time, therefore wont want isolating ones that provide poor quality sound.. i'd keep to the ipod ones, and when i want isolation my shure ones.

cracking ear phones, bought 4 sets in all from dx.

good for gym, dont fall out when your running hard and fast.
#18
bought two pairs of these at christmas to go with the mrs' and sisters ipod nanos, definitly worth the money (think they were a little more expensive back then). voted hot!!! :-)
#19
is it just me or do these type of ear hearphones just not stay in your ear ?..........
#20
I bought these earphones a couple of months ago, then ordered 3 more pairs for spares because they're so good.

They replaced an older in-ear type sony pair I had for a couple of years - they definitely sound different, these £2 ones have excellent (if a little excessive!) bass response. They're made of aluminium and are very comfortable for me. I'd say overall they're almost as good as my old sony's, but at a small fraction of the price.

Sounds like you didn't have them fitted properly.
#22
Bought a pair of these myself and found them very good. They separate the audio very nicely. Infinitely better than stock iPod plugs.

As with all things at DX, there will be some build variance that won't be picked up by the lax QA of their suppliers.

All things being equal though - definitely worth a punt. They have these in other colours, but some of the reviews seem to indicate that the qualities of these colours are less than the orange ones.
#23
Cheers OP based on the feedback I have goen for a couple of pairs t osee how the fair down the gym. Would be nice not to have to keep wedging the earphones back in when on the treadmill.
#24
I bought these a while ago, good while they lasted but they broke after a few months
#25

one of the earphones was louder than the other.

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3396, and they are amazing, fit and sound for just over 2quid!!
#26
Is it exactly £2 or do you have to pay for delieverey
#27
bought these and loved them.
I bought the orange and then a set of red.
I then bought a pink pair for my sis.

and lately bought the silver and black ones.
now have a pair for every device in the right colours, not had any issues with them and I prefer them to my sony pair.

2 quid? no way? horrible reviews tho!

Yeah, I got a pair and both phones had an 'L' on them! Sound is acceptable for £2, but not up to the standard of Sony Fontopia ones. But what do you expect?
#30
I bought a pair of these from dealsextreme the last time this deal was around. Delivery took a while (1 to 2weeks i think) and although I wasn't expecting much for the price, I was still v. dissappointed. The build quality is poor and the sound isn't tremedous, I'd seriously recommend anyone thinking of getting one to spend a little more and get the creative in-ear ones that are on here somewherer for a few pounds more
#31
OK, not that good then.
#32
If you're used to the standard white ipod efforts, you'll think these are amazing...

But they don't stay in your ear that well, and mine broke within a few weeks... So can't really recommend, but then taking the punt at £2 didn't bother me, you might have better luck but I'd go with a brand.

Also, posted on here before - these dx deals do seem to get recycled every so often...
#33
they are ok, they do keep falling out but for me sound is ok.
#34
I've had a set of these and the creative ones. My housemate borrowed my creative ones so I decided to give these a go.
All in all for the price they are far better then most bundled headphones so long as you get the correct fit.

I tend to use the opposite hand to ear that im fitting to tug on the top of my ear while I place the bud in. I also reccomend trailng the wire over the top of the ear and round the back as they are quite big and slightly heavy.
#35
I got a pair of Sennheisers for all you bass lovers out there and they are amazing. They retail at a high price but if you go on eBay you can pick them up for about a tenner. I got my CX400s for 6 quid delivered. Much better than paying for this. But voted hot because they are good budget headphones.
#36
cheers, just ordered a pair - man that was almost too easy with google checkout express option.
#37
Just like to warn everyone that i purchased one of these after reading praiseworthy reviews but within 2 weeks, one of the heads stopped working. Same happened again when i ordered another pair. The quality is brillian but due to the wiring being of cheap quality its mainly the reason of its downfall. In my opinion these sound too good to be true and damn right they are as your better of buying a costly pair of headphones as a one off instead of disposing these every couple of weeks. I hope you take this in consideration, didnt mean to disregard yet the truth had to be told. Cheers
#38
I must say I've bought two pairs of these together in the past and they were both of poor sound quality. One of the pairs even gave me electric shocks.
#39
These were posted before so won't add heat.

I found these quite uncomfortable, didn't always stay in. Are useful as a backup in my eyes, good quality music, bass great effect. Started to hurt my ears after a while of continual use, however still have them for a just incase & use them for college computers, no problems what so ever :)

Read that somebody said getting for a psp & said bass doesn't matters, I think it does on games espically, these are spot on for it, especially £2.

£2 earphones are £2 earphones..

If you want semi decent in ears try the Creative EP630s.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Labs-EP-630-A-Earphones/dp/B0009G6FQI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1210051759&sr=8-1
