Does this come with an Assassins Creed 3 voucher? I assume not since it doesn't mention it.

I already ordered from pixmania but they stopped it for "validation" which has given be second thoughts and I cancelled. I might switch to Amazon.

I ordered these yesterday

http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/VTX3D+Black+Edition+Radeon+HD+7870+%28Tahiti+LE%29+OC+2048MB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card+%2B+5+FREE+GAMES!+?productId=53474

And this to power it

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplies/Modular+650W+or+less/650W+XFX+Pro+XXX+Edition+80PLUS+Bronze+Modular+Power+Supply+[P1-650X-XXB9]+?productId=53994

It came to £260 but the PSU has gone up now.
Will be powered by an i5-2400 , 8gig ram
I am guessing it will be around about the same if over clocked though I may just leave at stock if far cry 3 plays fine.
Right now my card is really getting on as its a 4850 1GB
I hope to run on my 24 inch 1080P Samsung P240 screen.

Can you score any games out of this deal

You can get 3Dmark free with it?
Must admit, i remember the days when a £150 card was top of the line. Now, £150 barely gets you a decent gaming card. Ah well. I wont be changing my card anytime soon until someone releases an integrated liquid cooling system like PNY did with the GTX 580 (which i am currently using)

I'd rather pay 15 quid more and get a 7950. Much better and overclocks way more. Eyefinity is also better than NVIDIA's version.
So would i admittedly, but this is a good offer for a budget GPU IMO so if you don't have the extra cash or don't like AMD/ATI products =D

Do I detect a bit of graphics card willy-waving here?

£200 isn't a budget GPU by any stretch of the imagination.
It's not a very high end card, obviously, but it's certainly a very good mid range part.
It's borderline budget when compared to the price of some of the high-end cards.

Nearly anything is 'borderline budget' when compared to this high-end graphics card!

Those who aren't using it with a 8.9, can you get the audio out working on it? On my one, when I have the note in it, I still have to use the socket on the note.

Received mine today, trim off in 2 seconds as described by OP and Note 10.1 in situ easy peasy :)Great for longer emails and office docs. Thanks OP
Have you used anything to prop the note up with?
A hard drinks coaster. It's just the right thickness to slip in the back and as the felt backing on coaster is facing the Note there is no risk of marking the back of it. Also just the right height to support the Note. Looks good from the other side too as it's a nice coaster, lolMy only slight disappointment is that the keyboard is not as light as I would have liked.

Update: Since my case arrived (which is similar style to official case ie clip in not slide in), I have done away with the coaster. When in the case, the Note sits perfectly and 100% safely in the keyboard dock if I simply open the case lid to A frame shape to balance it.:D
I got one of these delivered, thanks OP. Have to my mind very successfully adapted it to use with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1", and did it while retaining cosmetically good appearance as well as very stable support for the tablet (and avoided injuring ourselves in the process, phew).

In case it helps anyone:

1. Unclipped the black tablet insert/support- mine had NO screws (unlike the US YouTube lady's version referenced earlier). There are 4 clips (as in her video) under the back edge that need unclipping carefully with 4 retainer lugs under the front edge.

2. Decided that I would try to retain ALL 4 front and back lugs to keep the black insert/support as supportive as possible - AND succeeded - and to keep it both cosmetically as pleasing as possible and mechanically as unlikely to scratch/damage the tablet as possible - ie would NOT just crop off the entire ends but would remove the end of the plastic "tablet- groove" and also the bit of plastic between that tablet-groove and the end (leaving black plastic all the way to the end at front, and back)..

3. So needed to remove the end section of the underside tray - ie that comes up and narrows, hence getting in way of 10.1. Removed those by a vertical junior hacksaw saw UNDERNEATH the tray, just to outside of back clip and a 'Dremel' type drill/saw/cutter gizmo around the "U" shape to release that "end of tray" bit.

4. Then hacksawed from the TOP, using inside the front support as a guide to cut through in a straight line from the support to the end of the insert. Carefully managed to get the saw blade out of the cut.

5. Then hacksawed again from TOP using inside the rear support (but recognising that it starts to curve round more sharply, so have to start the saw cut 'early') in a straight line to the end of the insert. That released the centre area.

6.Used the Dremel and very fine sandpaper to tidy up the edges to avoid any "scratchability".

7. Repeated at the other end.

8. Reinserted the black insert/support in the keyboard base and used some black insulating tape to cover over the hacksawing scratching that was visible inside the rear supports.

Result - a real HUKD keyboard for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (Tesco HUKD). Only downside is that DO need to insert the tablet slightly carefully to ensure that 30-pin connector/socket line up (ie the two "SAMSUNG" logos are centred on each other) as there's no ends to the groove to self-centre the tablet as the overall slot is about 1.5cm longer than the tablet edge - but that was always going to be the case without buying the "right" accessory at about 4x the price!

If anyone's confused by the words and wants a picture, that says a 1000 words far better, then msg me and I'll send you a link to a couple showing it assembled (didn't take any during the work).

a friend cut off the ends of the black plastic with a hacksaw, then filed it a bit then put it back in, works a treat.

Got mine in the other day and stripped the black plastic off to see what I can do with it. I reckon I can cut away the ends just at the curved bits and just clip the rest of it back in. That should give all the support it needs.

Thought the same but the clips won't match the holes if you cut the ends. You will need to get shot of the clips and glue I think.
Yes they will, you're not moving the black plastic only cutting the ends off it, the clip and there holes wont change

brilliant - i will be doing this too.

cheaper at novatech:
Not now it isn't! I just clicked through and was pleasantly surprised to find it was now £26.34 as of 17/12/2012, which, according to the Camel, is the lowest it's ever been. Going fast though - while I spent 25 minutes reading reviews, the stock dropped from 18 to 14, I bought about 10 minutes ago and now 11 left.

The software is a nightmare if it's not bundled as VLC doesn't play Blu-Rays well at all.

VLC plays blurays absolutely fine - albeit without menus. Use the latest version, then: Media -> Open Disc -> select 'bluray' radio button -> Play.

Bluray plays.............

VLC doesn't support BD+ and it doesn't seem likely it will any time soon either.

Why would you want windows 8 on a desktop pc???
Why wouldn't you want Linux on a desktop PC?
Are there any similar ones, for a similar price that write DVDs?
Anyone know the cheapest place to get a blu-ray burner.
