Sainsburys are known for messing up the pricing on the day of release. But you can't guarantee it. . .

Should be fine ordered mine a while back £12 something with the 15% code when it was about!! fingers crossed, great film :)

Ah, Inception; the movie equivalent of "The Emperors New Clothes" and one that nobody actually likes or understands yet people say is brilliant. In reality, most walk out of the cinema going WTF?! but daren't say it.

I'd rather be forced to watch Sex & the City 2 whilst being dangled naked over a hungry crocdile than have to sit through Inception again!

Speak for yourself.
It was a brilliant film and many people would disagree with you.
This is the best price available today so heat added OP!

I already ordered for a bit less from tesco when the codes were around.

thanks OP

If nobody actually liked it then which people are saying its brilliant? I know I am saying its brilliant and liked it for one! Its not actually that hard to understand and has depths that films of this scale just don't have anymore. The best thing about this film will be the fact that you can watch it again and again and the ending changes depending on your own perception of what you just saw! I for one know a dozen people who each think the film was brilliant AND perceived the meanings of key points as different. There is no other film like it.

The price is good at this time as most places are currently selling at £14.99 but the digital copy will be pointless as usual. I'm sure it is just a passcode to get it from Itunes meaning that the file format will be of limited use. Most people have been taking this "digital copy" as a sign from the studio that it is not illegal for them to "make a digital copy" themselves by ripping in a format that works best for them (as long as you don't give that copy away etc of course) But having both DVD and Blu Ray is a great way to show people the differences in the format.

I would bet that next year there will be "special edition" though ;)

To be honest you'd have to be pretty stupid to not at least get the plot at face value.
#22
Not sure why they have to force this triple play garbage on us these days, why can't we just pay a tenner for the Bluray on it's own?

Yeah, coming from someone with a football badge for their avatar, that means a lot.

How could you not understand this film? It's slightly more complicated than your average hollywood fare granted but it's certainly no Momento or Eternal Sunshine.
#24
Never had one of these combi boxes - tell me - do you get a seperate case for the blu ray and the dvd? or are they bundled in one case?
#25
Can someone clarify what "Triple Play" means? Thanks.
#26
blu-ray, DVD and Digiatal copy, and yes its all in one case (well Avatar was)
#27
maybe you need to pay more attention to the movie? a lot of people talk all the way through movies then get a nark on because they dont understand it. i know this because they always seem to sit behind me, when they are not talking they are ramming sweets down their throats and texting their friends. im not the sharpest tool in the box and i fully understood it first time.

What? Are you kidding?

I love having combi packages and personally think for the extra tiny price difference I would much rather have multiformats.

If you go to a mates house who doesnt have a bluray player you can watch this on DVD or the digital copy.

Then save the bluray for home..

Or if you intend to buy a bluray player in the near future but want to get this on DVD to watch then also brilliant idea. Future proof!

So you came into a thread about a film you didn't understand to boast your ignorance. Fail.

How arrogant of people on here to judge whether someone is stupid for not understanding the plot of a film. The film had very complex threads which linked together so much so that I'm willing to bet that a few people on here who think they 'got it' actually didn't. Intelligence is only part of the story in understanding this film as having watched it twice and 'got it' the first time, on watching it a second time there were things that I interpreted differently as the film invites you question everything to different depth levels.

That comment just made me stop ordering this!

Heat added for the price and because it is a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant film as are almost all of Christopher Nolan's films! The best of which is Inception, closely followed by The Dark Knight then Memento.

I guess if you do that or you watch it in your car then it's worthwhile but if you only need the Bluray and don't much use DVD's anymore then it's just a waste.

I think they should do these versions for people who want them but then also a slightly cheaper version with just the Bluray as well.

I went to the cinema to see it and was one of those that walked out after 45 mins - didn't have a clue what was going on -- save your money -- don't bother

If you would have watched the whole thing then you might of understood what was going on.

SO is it 10.1% cashback at TopCashBack? I can't see any that it excludes anything via their links.

I dont know what people are saying, watched it twice in cinema. Awesome! Missed the special case edition (Sainsbury's).

digital copy, you can transfer to your i-pod, can you not? You get a choice, whether to play in I-Tunes or Windows Media Player. I love the DVD/Blu-ray bundle. Got Avatar and Harry potter, kids watch DVD on their players in bed, Blu-ray for me on PS3.

To me not fully understanding everything makes me want to watch it again, and its great to have different interpretations of a movie. I never paid to watch this movie but I will def be buying this as it was that good and want to see it in Blu-ray
