I must be full of post Christmas cheer, I just slated Zombieland, but I can't even be bothered to slate this film. Ok I will be quick > I saw it in the cinema, I was bored, the end. Some people love it though, I know plenty who think it's the most over rated rubbish made last year.

It's mainly just the Owen Wilson 'romcom' lovers that didn't like this film. I guess at almost 3hrs long, it challenges the attention span of some.

yea cos leo decaprio has had a terrible couple of years with films like shutter island and inception.
one of the finest actors out there in my opinion.

Definitely a theme running here, as I also don't like The Matrix series of films hehe.

Challenges the intellect of a 4 year old maybe. For anyone else it's not difficult to follow the plot or it shouldn't be.

Challenges what intellect? It's a relatively simple concept that anyone can understand with ease.

No film that forces you to use your head is ever going to be successful in today's mainstream market. Same with TV shows. Just look at the last episode of LOST, hundreds of thousands of idiots flooded the internet claiming they were all dead from the shows start, even though Christian stated that everything prior to the finale was real. If Inception had the same effect as LOST did on people then this movie would be in the bargain bins already.

Avatar is a great example of just how much todays society enjoys bland, lifeless forms of entertainment.

I'm not going to slate the people that didn't like Inception, each to their own. Personally I thought it was an excellent film but then I thought Inglorious **** (apart from the beginning) was a pile of crap so I know what it feels like to come under attack by a mob of die-hard fans.
