'Triple Play Edition' includes the movie on 3 formats: Blu-ray, DVD & Digital Copy!

Take a trip into the world of the subconscious with 'The Dark Knight' director Christopher Nolan's mind-bending thriller. Packed with pulse-pounding action scenes and an incredible cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page, this is the stuff dreams are made of!

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

Special Features:

Extraction Mode: Infiltrate the movie's imaginative landscape to learn how Christopher Nolan, Leonardo DiCaprio and the cast and crew designed and achieved the film's signature moments
Dreams: Cinema of the Subconscious: Can the Dream World Be a Fully Functional Parallel Reality?: Joseph Gordon- Levitt and leading scientists take you to the cutting edge of dream research
Inception - The Cobol Job: Comic prologue in full animation and motion - see the events that led to the beginning of the movie
5.1 Soundtrack Selections from Hans Zimmer's versatile score
BD Live

What? It was £14.99 for yonks, then dropped only RECENTLY to £12.99...

Now it is for £11 for first time in months and you state 'how little'?

LOL

Well, yeah. The list price has dropped from £14.99 7 months ago to £12.99 now, £2 is little in that space of time

still waiting for the briefcase version to drop to this price

Inception = style over content.

A poor storyline mated to brilliant special effects. When is Hollywood going to stop feeding us this pap?

I purchased mine on Blu-Ray when Morrisons had their super cheap deal on. I watched it and then gave it away to a pal. Oh Lord, WHAT a crap film.

But as a "Hot deal"? I guess it meets the brief...

Maybe go watch the new Pirates of the Caribbean flick instead then, I'm sure thats got a better storyline...

About time this started dropping in price, might finally get round to buying it at that price.

Going to rent this today from blockbuster with their £1 wednesday rental deal. Not really a collector so no point buying the bluray for me as I know ill only watch it once and leave it to rot. With the blockbuster deal its only a £1 to watch and even if its $hite cant really complain for a quid!

You didn't understand it did you.

What's there to understand? It wasn't hard to grasp, even if they kept jumping around between realities to try and look super-complicated.

I agree with the style-over-substance comments - it also felt like the Matrix sequels in trying self-consciously to be 'clever' but actually just disappearing up its own botty in the process...

Yes Film 2012, I am available!

Most of the people i've heard say they didn't like Inception simply didn't understand it and i agree it isn't particularly difficult to follow.

Truth is the overwhelming majority like the film, some like myself love it and to compare it to the usual hollywood summer crap like that other guy did is idiotic.

Style over substance? Hmmm, need to disagree. This was a real event film for me at the flicks, it grabbed me from the beginning and I got a lot from it. I appreciate if the film didn't hook you in early then really it would get progressively more boring, therefore asking a lot from the audience. It had an interesting concept, a good plot and excellent script. The special effects fitted around this to enhance, hell the director wrote the thing 10 years ago when such special effects didn't exist (yeah the Matrix was released over 10 years ago but the fx here move the game on).

I agree. The premise of the film I thought was quite simple, yet it was spun out to try to make it look clever. Its hard to intellectualise this type of film, and you will always get people banging on about "you didn't understand it" but there wasn't that much to understand.

We are being feed on rubbish from Hollywood that mascarades as entertainment. Hollywood is fresh out of ideas and is looking to towards technology to continue to entertain the masses. Remember the ONLY thing Hollywood is interested in is $$$. A film is just an investment vehicle for a pension/hedge fund. Nothing more...

Fine, recommend me something. Don't have a preference of style/genre, just good will do.

Heat added, cheapest price around at the moment. HMV have readded it to their instore 2 for £20 deal, so could pick up another film or copy of this.

Second best film I saw last week, X-Men First Class takes this award :D.

Senna is a very good film, though only really a fantastic piece of editing.

Isn't Senna a documentary made up primarily of archive footage? So not really a good example of film-making. It made it into the top 5 at the box office last week as well and it is playing in 'mainstream' cinemas. So your little attempt at sounding like a know it all arthouse movie goer failed.

Try naming an action blockbuster from the past few years that matches up to Inception.

No I am most definitely not an arthouse type. Its just in Tayside its not in the mainstream.

Blockbusters tend to be over hyped, and over produced. Cinema should ALWAYS be about the story not $$$.

I dislike poor storytelling, and that seems to be generally the type of film that Hollywood makes. Yes I want to be entertained, but if I want SFX, I will fire up the PS3. I want quality!!!!

Its like buying a "label" product. No guarantee of quality, just an icons' association that will satisfy. Maybe thats the "Inception". It's a classic case of the emperors new clothes. Don't be satisfied with less. Open your mind.

You didn't name a film and of course it's all about the money, they're running a business, they can't release avant garde films that appeal to a niche audience all the time or else they'd go bust.

agreed but you'll just get told that you are an imbecile by other HUKDers so its not even worth commenting. Inception is about as clever as Butterfly Effect. Nolan had the limitless scope of dreams and still turned it into a predictable heist movie. Its very much the Berbatov of films, you get accused of being a dimwit for 'not getting it' when there isn't anything complex to get.
