Review

http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/incipio-feather-for-iphone-3g/

My review: Nice tight fit, buttons easily accessible, great for docks as is open at the bottom so wont affect docking or sound from speakers. Nice to be able to see a bit of the chrome highlight on the phone face. Very light, thin (so doesnt detract from iphones form) and strong. Rubber isnt tacky so doesnt collect fluff or get stuck in your pocket.

Agreed, excellent case IMO. Feels really nice too. It only stops the back getting scratched and looking at the back of my current feather case it's done it's job ! The silver bezel is still exposed and still gets scratched and it wont offer any drop protection. So if those are what you want then look elsewhere.

Read some reviews that it does offer drop protection from lower heights up to 4ft (some guy dropped his and phone was fine spose depends on how it falls to.), so desk/table height which is quite good for a case this thin. With the combined screen protector stops face from scratching but yes the bezel can get scratches.

Personally opted for this as hate large bulky cases, sure more protection but I dont throw my pohne around anyway. So would rather have something as thin as possible but just more protection than an invisible shield offers.

brilliant cover, got one as soon as i got my iphone gs a few months ago, still going strong and hardly any damage to the incipio. def worth it

i have not opened my touch 3 gen yet as i cannot come to decision on a worth case i would like something which prevents scratching of the back and drop protection and if not asking to much a screen protection, does anyone have any good recommendations?

I'm on my second (first got paint splash)

the best case I've had for my iPhone by far
very discreet and stylish, I even bough my son the touch version

only 1 minor complaint, the screen protectors are poor, even loose change in my pocket seem to mark the surface. I'd recommend sticking them both on.

Only had mine for a short while but screen things seem good to me, but I dont have anything else in my "phone" pocket so probably makes a difference. Other thing to mention is they are incredibly easy to apply / reapply unlike invisishield and others.

I wouldn't use the included screen protectors - they aren't very good.

Instead pick up a PowerSupport screen protector. Either anti-glare or crystal.
They are just superb. (available from apple store, or of course Ebay).

getting my iphone for xmas so ordered this as i got a switch easy case for the missus ipod touch and although it's nice it also makes it look like a brick.

Lol@ 'phone pocket'

mines usually in there with screws nuts bolts, change etc

Go through about 1 screen protector = 6 weeks or so.
Current one came with a griffin case I picked up for a fiver at TK Max.
Rank case but good screenie.

The PowerSupport Anti-glare has visible (only just) lines when looking at a brighter screen which some people don't like - not orange peel effect. But it never gets any fingerprints on it and does reduce glare considerably.

The PowerSupport crystal you really can't see it's on there. No visble distortion at all. But it gets fingerprints just as the naked 3G screen does. Both have a really nice feel.

A tip for applying it : You get a white sticky backed plastic 'thing' the same size as the screen protector. As you are laying the protector down if you notice a spec of dust causing a bubble lift the screen protector back up, dab the screen with the sticky 'thingy' which will remove the dust and continue putting the protector on. I've done several and using this method they go on perfectly.

Sorry drifted off topic here :whistling:

Thats great, thanks for the advice.

In terms of screen protectors I swear by InvisbleShield. Yes it's a bit of a mess to put on but IMO offers unrivaled protection. We've got a 3G which had it on from the start, 16 months ago still no scratches, tears etc. Also got one on the wife's 3GS and my Touch.

thanks but it looks like all the cases for touch are 2g i have a 3g
