Previous cheapest was £12.41 delivered at Amazon a few weeks ago...

In my opinion, this is the best scratch protection case available for iphone, and adds virtually no weight or bulk to it. I've had 3 or 4 different cases and this is the one I settled with (having paid £19.99 for it, I'm shocked to see it for £10.95 now!)...

Measuring less than 1mm thin, Feather is ideal for the iPhone user seeking inconspicuous, first-class protection. Feather is made of an ultra light, ultra strong polymer for light as a feather, form-fitting durable protection without the added bulk. Feather features a soft touch matte finish and includes 2 surface protectors and a cleaning cloth. Feather by Incipio is so thin that it allows the iPhone to be used with many of the docks on the market.

Features

Ultra light, ultra strong polymer
Less than 1mm thin - for superior protection without adding bulk
Soft touch matte finish
Light as a feather, form-fitting durable protection
Includes 2 surface protectors and a cleaning cloth

I've got one of these, great case. Answer to above question;yes - the 3G & 3GS have identical bodies.
They do come in a variety of colours, try eBay as I did see a seller offering these in nearly all available colours even the latest "limited edition" types.
One thing is that they do pick up marks/colour transfer pretty easy so perhaps the White is not the best colour unless your ultra careful. I have lightly sanded my cover a couple of times to freshen it up,also got rid of the intrusive logo on the reverse.

I also bought one of these but wasn't too impressed. Great looking product & functional, but the soft-touch matt effect peeled off the corners of the cover and it got grubby in no time at all. There are definiately better on the market. Good price though, so on that basis heat added.

Cheers, I thought that about my belkin rubber cover - marked and got grubby really quickly. The incipio has lasted far better for me. Remains to be seen if it does detriorate, but I've had it 5 months now and I've dropped it a couple of times aswell!

I ordered one from Amazon (prime) as well hoping it will be delivered tomorrow but not sure due to the strikes

To anyone thinking of buying just so you know this is a scratch protection case not drop protection

Great case, bought for similar price from ebay but good price nonethless!

Great case !

Also has lifetime warranty. Only problem is that it has to be shipped to the US to get a replacement sent out.

I bought one of these a few months back from ebay for around this price.

Fantastic case, I actually prefer the feel of my iPhone with the case on! Comes with 2 screen protectors too

My only issue with any iPhone case is they all (Unavoidably) get fine dust / grit particles stuck between the case and the back / bezel and in time with vibration / movement etc they start to inadvertently scratch the Phone.

I wonder sometimes whether just naked is better :p

Only Amazon Supersaver is potentially affected by strikes, according to an email Amazon sent so you should be fine. :)

Great case and great warranty support! I've had one replaced for cracks near the Volume/Silence switches, no questions asked. After sending a few photos one was dispatched within days.

The best case for protecting the 3G/3GS from scratches.

Can anyone recommend a drop protective ipod case? Ideally something rubber and black

I've used an iluv iphone case for about 4 months now.

Droppped my phone at least three times and its protected it brilliantly.

On drop proof cases, I have an otterbox defender which was under £8 on fleabay. After seeing somebody throw it out of a 2nd storey window onto concrete, without damage, I was convinced (see youtube). It is black and has a rubber outer and is pretty bulky, but offers almost 100% protection. A bargain too!
