My local Asda had several copies of Independence Day reduced to £2. Online on their site it is £17.93 (1 disc is £2.93). This seems like a good bargain as they go for double that on fleabay....

Is the right answer.
Its a class movie..fine its complete **** but its **** in the same way Dr.Who is ****, it's effectively so **** that it's brilliant
ive already posted this and apprently someone posted it before me

its the 2 disc special editon and scans at £1.96 instead of £3
cheapest ive seen that DVD is Morrisons, tends to be £2.99 or part of a 2 for £5 promotion.

good deal for a good movie.
Seems like a great deal for Sci-fi classic. You can't argue at 2 DVD set for £2

Seems there are some that would argue.

I think the movie get 7 out of 10 for entertainment factor.
Worth a watch every few years.
Will Smith Is The Greatest!
I got this for £1.98 from ASDA :p

It was in the £3 DVD stand (I got 3 others) but didn't have a price so I got the girl at the checkout to price check it before she put it through. She said £1.98 and I just said "that's right"! It was on the TV just the other night and an old film but worth £2 for me!
I think my GF managed to get this for £1.98 and it was priced up at £2.
GOOD DEAL, but its not a misprice... its just a cheap movie now.
It's cheaper than elsewhere, suggesting a hot deal.

However it's £2 more than not buying it, and will cost you two hours of your life, which you won't get back. The gung ho 'America saves all' film will please some but not if they have learnt to read and write - probably.
i have this dvd, the definitive edition steelbook version and i paid £6 for it, but as i collect steelbooks it was a cheap one really. im not expecting anything great from the film, but i will watch it one day...
Bought it as it's cheap and an ok film.
If you can't get this at Asda any more, try Morrissons. They have it as part of their 2 for £5 offer, which includes some other 2 disc SE's.
