Great deal :)

Noisiest fridge I have ever owned, plus a wine bottle is deeper than the inside so it doesn’t shut with a bottle on the shelf!
I suppose you only get what you pay for….(_;)

Great price for a decent, big fridge and freezer. We got ours for £199 and thought that was a great deal. Ours is in the garage and although it's not necessarily quiet, ours isn't as noisy as being made out by some people above! Really have no issues with ours at all - great size, good quality, and even looks good. Voted hot from me.

I know they own the Hotpoint brand now, but can't believe John Lewis sell Indesh*t, still a Fridge Freezer is actually one of the most reliable appliances in a home, due to having sealed motors, and no moving parts, unlike their washing machines. That said, a deal's a deal, and this a great price for a Fridge Freezer of this capacity, and of course you have a 2 year guarantee to fall back on if things do go wrong, so heat added!

Good deal, but I'll never go back to non-frost free.

defrost your freezer every six months and it will take just 30 mins! you get loads more space and a lot less noise from a non frost free!

Do not buy. Extremely noisy and plastic shelf supports break easily exposing foam inside with sharp plastic poking out.

The worst fridge/freezer I have ever brought.

Check guarantee - it will only cover the motor. All the plastics could fail, the doors can fall off but you won't be covered.

30 mins!? I found a saber toothed fish finger trapped in the permafrost in my old freezer. Took a whole expedition of us 400 years to defrost it. Or did I dream it?

People here don't seem very keen on this fridge.
How come so many positive reviews on John Lewis? Eg. "It has sufficient storage space inside for the smaller family, a near silent operating noise, all round a good buy."
Onother comment : "My old fridge used to make some funny noises which would wake me up in the middle of the night as my kitchen is next to the bedroom. This one works quietly. "
Who's right, who's wrong?

Seems like the same price with a few different companies at the moment.

Currys, John Lewis etc seem to have the same price @£179.99. Comet and Tesco direct are £40+ more.

good deal . I just paid £199, about two weeks ago.
At fist I got a dented one that was a bit noisy. But the new one doesn't make much noise at all. They seem to vary.

JL does 2 year guarantee and other company does 1 year only for this fridge freezer.
