this looks good, what does it mean by dual fuel? Does it mean you can use bottled gas or normal gas with this?
#2
It means gas hob and electric oven and grill HTH

cheaper at argos

This cooker isn't for sale at all at argos, and there isn't anything that looks this nice for a similar price at all.
#7
can you collect this from a local empire direct store and save delivery? Can't see that option on the screen.
#8
its cheaper in argos. 119
#9
If its cheaper in argos then why doesent anyone post the link?? Ive just checked the website, plenty of Indesit cookers, none for £119....cheapest is £169
#10
Cheapest by over £100. http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=Indesit+KD3G11XG&oe=utf-8&scoring=p

I bought one last week, not been delivered yet so going to try and get dixons to price match it. Don't particularly want to wait another week without a cooker but for £110 it'd be worth it.

doesent exist.

The one that you posted for £199 Agrajag is the Model K3G11XG which is a single oven with combined Grill.

The one at Empire is KD3G11XG which has separate grill.

Thanks for this. brought one, using the voucher and quid co 2%.

Spoke to empire they said when it arrives in stock they will call me, I can then tell them I want to pickup from local store at which point they will refund me the 29.99 delivery charge. Hope it works out.
#17
This is a good deal for me, altho fan assisted ovens are essential in my eyes of which this is not. For this price tho bargain!!!
#18
I've ordered this it's exactly what we've been looking for.

Excellent

"50cm Dual Fuel Twin Cavity Cooker"

It is also narrow, much narrower than one for an opening in a modern kitchen, that is one reason it is such a low price. Kitchens are usually designed to take a 60cm cooker, this size doesn't sit well in the space, looks awful, and collect the spills, so make sure that this size is what you want before you commit to buying it.

I haven't voted hot or cold, btw.

[I now expect a Troll to pass untrue comments as he has done in the past when I have mentioned this, but as I won't see them, I thought I had better mention it in case people get mislead by it.]

60cm is much more usual but the kitchen in my new house has a 50cm gap so for the moment I need a narrow cooker such as this and for £120 that's a bargin. So my Dixons order has been cancelled and I hope I'm able to pick this up locally as there is an Empire Direct very close.

Cheers for the original poster.

Is Indesit a good brand?

Not any more in my view. Expect it to last a year and then expect to pay a minimum £100 for an engineer to fit a part that costs a few quid. Same people as hotpoint and creda and ariston. All owned by Merloni. All now a shadow of their former selves made in places like poland with cheap parts from brazil.

Probably identical to a creda and hotpoint products with a different badge and price attached.

see youtube for some revealing videos on fridges and washing machines with the indesit brand on them.

we bought one this morning, they called us up at noon to say they would be sending it direct from the manufacturer.

i think its a extremely good price, we were on the look out for a free standing in oven in silver or stainless steel just to match our kitchen appliances.
#25
Just ordered one VERY GOOD PRICE
#27

I which case, do they price match with Empire, as if they do it would make it cheapest of all!

Edit:
It seems not :-(
#28
Would of got this but don't have a radial circuit for the electric grill and oven as I have a completely gas cooker and oven at the moment.
#29
Empire have just called me and cancelled the order it's a misprice:x:x:x:x:x
#30
same me
#31
Me too, gutted. Now I have no oven coming.
#32
i just got an email off them asking me to contact them and they said it's a miss print and should be £349... i'm sure they can't just change the price like that and get away with it.... glad i didn't advertise my old cooker

I'm waiting to hear..... is there anything we can do ?
