The offer Doesn't start until Boxing Day.

The only washing machine I have used that had a dedicated program for shoes and it didn't sound like is falling apart while doing it.

Indesit not worth anything make sure you have house insurance and life insurance in place.

5kg is a very small capacity.
Good chance you will wish you got a larger one later on.

there s lots single people out there ?

I'd agree that 5kg is on the small side, but probably plenty for someone who is single, or a small couple (seriously, their clothes will be smaller!). The 1000rpm would bother me however, clothes will come out wet. Not ideal in the winter or if you live in a flat and have to dry indoors. Even if using a dryer, you'll want the clothes well spun first.

5Kg is way to small and 1000rpm is too slow to get rid of much water, need 1200 min really.

I have this washing machine.( didnt buy it) There is no LCD display, so you will have no idea how long till the washing is done. Don't recommend this product.

Indesit (as well as a few other cheap makes but Indesit led the bunch) featured strongly in several watchdog type programs for exploding and also being prone to go on fire if I recall correctly. The company denied all liability but it was proven that their machines were faulty.

Edit: I'm assuming that's what koalauk is referring to.

Well in 14 months time the Indesit will be broken and beyond economical repair so the buyer will able to then buy a proper reliable machine with a larger drum.

Aaah well, c. £10 per month sounds a better option for some people than trekking to a launderette...

Wouldn't buy another Indesit washing machine mine burnt out on Christmas eve.
Cant even drain off the water in the drum.

I have owned Indesits. They last on average 8 years. 5 kg load is fine for me and it won't put so much load on bearing as 7kg etc. More than 100rpm spin speed uses much more electricity and only makes the load slightly drier.

You make some good points.

Indesit = Hotpoint right?

That makes me go into a cold sweat when I thing of the reliability issues this hunk of junk will grace you with. Not voting but for me, I'm out!

Very basic machine. Too small load, too slow spin speed and if your single how you going to wash you bedding and towels..o two loads not a great saving and expensive to run. False economy...top that with endless letters offering extended warranties and a huge call out fee if you don't. It's cheap for one reason only and I'm not allowed to say it on this forum.

I bought this last boxing day for my mum and dad. It was £150 then. My bezzie picked it up who works at B&Q and he got us it for £120 with his Crew Card. It is used twice a day at least and after twelve months it is still going strong. My dad just reduces the wash load slightly due to the 5kg capacity. I just hope when I need to replace my washer that it happens when they have good offers on like this!

Then I'll say it for you. This is a piece of junk if you have even £200 to get a circa 7kg model (at least) and near 1400 rpm.
