Vindaloo hot from me.
#2
Am voting hot, think this is a great deal!!!!
#3
Thanks guys,
I can't understand why people are voting cold as it's a good saving, and also the curry is great!
Just had the beer and it was delicious!
#4
are they still doing this for £3 without the beer?

http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=202777

why not get it and get a beer ya self for much less?

I didn't see the £3 deal today while I was there, but that deal is for a different type of dish - it's not tikka massala and jalfrezi like this one. It's Chicken Rogan Josh & Chicken Bhuna.
Depends what you prefer!

wow i love indian food. not bad price either:thumbsup:

Nice find! I do get fed up though with virtually every single meat curry now being chicken. I don't like chicken breast curry, I could only find ONE lamb option in Tesco last week. Im sure Asda will be the same too.

What is "Indian Asahi beer" ? Asahi is a Japanese beer.

Is this beer from the same company, but an Indian manufacturing plant ?
Or, the Indians coincidentally have a beer with the same name ?
Or is it a mistake ?
#9
Will vote it hot but my local one was sold out (Cambridge Store).
Currys from Asda are normal better than Tesco

The Indian's may have bought it, just like they're buying everything else :w00t:

They have been doing this for some time now, there’s a little sign above the meals saying this deal! Picking up the curry on its own costs more than the meal and beer! Voted hot

#13

The Asahi in England is brewed in eastern Europe somewhere I think. No where near as nice as the actual Japanese stuff.

My mistake - it's Japanese. Was confusing it with the Kingfisher Indian beer which is also in the offer, although it was sold out today.

I like my curry like I like my deals!.... hot!

(ok so this is medium, so what :p)

Considering that Tescos hiked the price of their curries up earlier this year to insanely high prices for the spoonful or two of curry you get inside the containers, this is an awesome deal. I've only heard good things about the Asda curries though. Why are all the Tesco curries chicken too? I like to mix up the meats if eating curry at home...
#18
cheap curry? literally a hot deal! 8-)
#19
Does anyone know if they use free range chicken in these?

Because chicken is far cheaper to mass produce? The chicken in these curries and all ready meals will have been raised the same as the chickens you see on the tv in programmes about the battery farms and the shocking conditions they are raised in.

Love the deal, but the main thing here DOES THIS ACTUALLY TASTE NICE?

Many places serve curry but its more like 6 or 7 cubes chucked into a watered down sauce mixed with 3p curry sauces and 4p tomato cans.

AND Dont Asda have like 3p curry sauces in their store??? wi
#22
I bought this yesterday, there are two beers to choose from
#23
Very good wonder how genetically modified it is for this price! My boyfriend would kill me if I bought an Indian from Asda so methinks I'll stick to M&S - like Asahi though.

Asda - use free range chicken?! *chokes on asahi* - I very much doubt it. If they do they will waste no time shouting from the hills. :whistling:
#25
grrr - didn't have this offer in my local Asda - so had to by the 2 pack curry and beer separately!
:x
#26
I went all the way to ASDA, no such offer and I asked customer services who had NO IDEA about this deal. Only one was the £3 one.

The beer wasnt even next to it and there was NO sign showing £5. weird.
