Assuming one doesn't know *anything* about lighting and the electronics behind it; how easy would this be to fit manually? Would a specialist be required?
#7
Cheap though should really come with 8 lamps as GU10 lamps are so prone to short lives.

Fitting should be relatively easy if cables have been marked properly. UK wiring means there are often two or more black cables(newer domestic wiring is blue) providing neutral and phase(live) connections. Best suggestion is to record the location of cables to previous light and switch off the circuit if you can or whole house if required. HTH, David

Short lives and probably horribly overpowered - not many people would have a 200W light bulb hanging from their ceiling. A set of LED bulbs will cost more than the lamp but will pay for themselves.

There's also the matter of mechanical fixing, which may cause trouble of you are not au fait with such things.

Cheap GU10s (like the ones that come with this) do have a short life. Get named brand replacements and they last longer, or get LEDs - they last long and cost very little to run.

Only if it's suitable for use in a bathroom in the position you want to fit it.
