Fab price for this if you're after a copy; cheapest I've seen so far is at Best Buy for £29.99.

Bee are opening their first ever store in the Arndale Manchester on Friday 17th June.

The BEAST is coming.

A being of pure power and destruction is annihilating the East Coast. To stop this menace, Cole must find the key to unlocking his undiscovered powers hidden deep within New Marais. Standing in the way is a power-hungry dictator that will stop at nothing to rid him from the city. Gain enough power to defeat The Beast or witness the destruction of the world.

Save the world or destroy it.

The Characters - Someone in New Marais holds the secret to your Powers and defeating The Beast. Face new enemies, make new allies, and defend yourself against powerful forces rallying to destroy you.

Powers - To protect the city of New Marias and ultimately defeat The Beast, Cole must become more powerful than he’s ever been.

Welcome to New Marais - Welcome to a town of history and secrets. Hidden within this town lies the key to Cole’s powers and possibly the salvation of the human race. Scared citizens roam the seedy Red Light district, armed militia patrol the French Quarter and deadly mutated creatures inhabit the sticky swampland. Will you be strong enough to save the city from self-destruction, or will you help it along?

how do you know the price?!

Either an employee of Bee or a friend of someone who is, probably. ;)

Is there any news on Bee opening any other stores in the UK? Must be plans for a London store, surely.

I'm not an employee but it is honestly 100% going to be this price. Not sure with regards to other stores opening

Their facebook page has the details now but it will be opening up across from Build a bear where big retail is at the minute.

Why can't they have any stores in London? :(

Hmm, GameStation will give £31 cash for this and £11 cash for Dragon Age II. If I bought 2 x Infamous 2 and Dragon Age II and used the £5 off voucher, then get £42 back at GameStation, a copy of Infamous 2 would cost £13. Not bad! Not bad at all! Heat added.

Yes I knew of website and e havused them - just wondering who is behind them - I presume its someone big as they seem to be rapidly expanding?

Great price, i hope there store has better customer service than there website though, i have had Modern Warfare 2 on order with them for 3 days yet they still have not dispatched it and are not replying to my support emails, incredibly bad and unprofessional service.
#14
**** that is a good price. But worth going to Manchester and paying £4 for parking? ><
#15
instore, instore blah blah blah...not voting, but HATE instore only deals especially only one store in one area deals.

Or park on-street anywhere over the inner city ring road, like just past the Arena. Two hours free before the wardens start snooping. Also free all day around the industrial units in the brick rail arches off Fairfield Street

PS, Big is going to be bee.com

I have a feeling my town could be host to one of their stores - we lost a Game branch and it doesn't look like anything is going to fill its place.

where abouts in the arndale centre

"where Big retail is at the minute." Across from Build-a-Bear.

Is this an actual new store or just a new name?
Both Big & Bee are the same company (MBL).

Awesome game, got the platinum trophy yesterday, couldn't put it down

is this game a lot better than the first? im playing the first one now and its not so good. the graphics look a bit poor and im not getting any satisfaction from trying to shoot a crappy lightning bolt at those Reapers who sit high on the buildings and sniper you.

Maybe its not for you then, don't know why anyone would call the graphics on this game poor. Not Crysis but its hardly a chore to look at.

And climb up the buildings if you can't hit them though you generally should be able to.

Really it depends on hwo far in you are, you get useful abilities like a partial glide that make moving across the city very rapid. I personally loved it apart from the third and final enemies who are overpowered and irritating.

But maybe it just isn't for you.

I (well, my sister, since she works in Manchester) picked up the very last one for the PS3 at about 5PM. Apparently, they only had a certain number of copies at this price; it's now gone back up to £44.99, at least for PS3 anyway.
