Bought one of these months ago a my 'playstation' seat....amazingly comfy and great value.......until my cat decided she wanted to sit on it, claws and inflatable chairs dont go well together:x

Looks cool but WHERES THE DEAL???? They are in the catalogue at this price anyway, no sale?!?! Can I post all the other 250000 Argos items:-D??
#6
Is the chair cloth or something, or is it that horrible plastic stuff that your legs get stuck to if you sit on it on a hot day?
:P

I agree - this isn't a sale or any kind of offer so what is it doing here???????? :x

I bought one of these and it was burst straight out of the packaging. Took it back and got another, lasted a day before it burst at the seams. The picture on the Argos website was also misleading as it looks as if it has decent back support but im 6ft and it was at the very bottom of my back. Waste of money.:whistling:

That was my concern, they ALWAYS do this carp!!! We bought our son one of the Thomas the tank engine bean chairs, the picture CLEARLY shows a chair..... its never looked like that, it offers no support and never keeps its shape. I would and shoudl have takien it back but could never be bothered!
#10
Had similar chairs - dont last long, feel horrible when they stick to you, cant move without making a noise, and this is the standard price....cold from me.
#11
Why is this on here it's the normal price. why are people voting it hot?

Well it's a good price IMO. It's only £7 or so more for the larger one, too.
A bunch of us usually go to a friends at the weekend and there's only enough seating for 4 people, so 2-3 usually have to sit on a wooden floor...that's where things like these come in handy :P:thumbsup:

Dont get where you are coming from, this is SUPPOSED to be a saving site isn't it?!? Yes this product looks cool (though with what people have said I think I'll avoid) but as I said, I could post the rest of the Argos catalogue but I doubt anyone would consider it a deal..... so I wont
#13
Mods - please delete this as it is not a "hot" deal of any kind - just an Argos item at the usual price!
#14
I got one of these from argos last year... it is good quality, however do not buy this if you are 6 foot + or big build or overweight because you'll find the arms of the chair press your legs together rather uncomfortably!

this is not just a savings site. Its a deal site. An item does not have to be reduced to be a good deal.
If anyone thinks its worth more than they are being asked to pay, its a good deal to them.

Err because it's £11.69? Can you find any other form of seating for around this price? The next alternative are the large adult bean bags, but they are pretty expensive - over £115 for 2 at Argos infact.

Obviously these aren't designed to take day-to-day heavy usage, but just for someone to sit on whilst we play Xbox I think it's more than adequate. I'm sure we'll use our heads too and assign the smaller people to sit on this chair! :p

BUT ITS NEITHER HOT OR A DEAL THOUGH . Its just a standard priced low quality item which from what most have said is no better than the floor ;-)

Once again, its called HOT uk DEALS, me thinks the clue is in the title. A standard priced item like this can NEVER be considered a hot deal, thats how and why the forum works, otherwise it would be called QVC

Hot Deal, bought sofa and one single, jesus they take some blowing up!!!!
#19
Well I thought I would talk about the product!!

Bought one today and you do really need an electric pump or you will be ages and even with an electric pump it took a good 15 minutes! (and that was for the single chair). The chairs are made from plastic/vinyl finish, not a cloth finish as displayed in the picture.

You can get the chairs in black or white, but the sofas only available in white, which does seem a bit unusual.

They are quite sturdy for what they are, not much back support unless you slide down a bit.

For the price they are a comfy seat, which we have bought as can be used inside and outside(posibly with a throw when on a hot day), also if leave outside can just be washed down later without any probems I would have thought)

Thank you for posting the deal OP and heat and rep on its way.

for my 2 pence I believe if someone find something which may be its full price at one retailer, but believe the item is a good buy then it should be posted here as I have been looking at getting some indoor outdoor beanbags for about 2 months and have settled for these.

Thankyou sir! Being 6ft 4 this is one of my primary concerns when buying furniture and because almost everything furniture wise is built for small - average size people i'm often left frustrated and angry about the lack of statements regarding suitability for taller people, particularly Argos as we got stung with one of their gaming chairs which offered no support whatsoever to my back.

Can see your point and I was never intending to bash the OP, but can you imagine how cluttered the forum would get if everyone posted stuff that was full price but just seemed like a good buy?

Im sure that I alone could fill the first ten pages or so with stuff that I thought was good, just wouldn't really be what the site is about IMHO . To be honest I don't really care but I personally like to find out about stuff like the reduced 19" tv at Sainsburys, I wouldn't be so bothered about someone posting every item in the deli counter just because "it tastes really nice". Again, only my 2p worth, but Im sure the mods could advise?

You are not getting my point  never mind... its a great deal and it deserves its place here, Im just in the middle of posting the stock list of Netto, shoudl be up in a while, some great deals on there like cornflakes at standard price and some super noodles that are actually the same price as they were last year... BARGAIN!!! :whistling:

The mods should clear nonsense like this off or we'll soon have Argos posting their entire catalogue on here - I cannot believe how thick some people are!

I agree with you, but that statment does not apply to this item.
#25
So if they had sold these initially at £40 and then reduced them to the current price it would be a hot deal?

(PS already broken one footpump blowing the sofa one up!!)

Yes and no, yes because there would have actaully BEEN a deal in the first place (saving involved) and no because it sounds like the product isn't actually worth £11 never mind £40

My thoughts exactly, its kind of what I have been trying to get over :whistling:
