If you have a store near you

I think they will be able to send any Lakeland store near you as long as they have stock available, it's not like currys etc click & Collect service!

Anybody used one?

Just ordered - Thanks

don't these infrared ones just give surface temp?
#11
That has no reviews? Really? It's been out for ages, seems very odd.

Managed to limit myself to 1. Just.

Plan to use it to confirm my suspicions about the undead and brain dead at work. If it works through blonde hair, I could open up a whole new area of scientific research.

Cheers OP!

You need a proper pen probe to record the core temprature of your food. This will only record surface temp so only useful for using hot fat on a stove etc
#14
If you want an infrared thermometer, look on eBay. But as previous poster, this is no good for telling you if something is cooked all the way through.

Used one before. Beautiful bit of equipment.
#16
Great find. Need one of these for tempering chocolate. HEAT added

Ideal to check your fridge temperatures ;)

Great to test your car brakes to see if they are rubbing
#20
Useless only knowing the surface temperature.

No, even if there isn't a store near you.
#26
not really, infrared radiation is just heat that you cant see. there is no evidence to back-up for cancer. its just my opinion lol

No reviews for this product so could be complete rubbish and that's why they're getting rid of it. Does no one here have one who can provide some useful feedback?

Lakeland is a very good company with excellent customer service, they do extensive research and use product before post online! Just my opinion as I used them a lot have have excellent service from you whenever needed.
#31
Correct me if I'm wrong but you could use this to check the surface temperature of anything really, such as the house radiator inlet and outlet temperature?

how would that work? how would you get the wheel spinning and then stopping without the brakes?
