"Innis & Gunn oak-aged beer is like no other.
Our pioneering production process is unique to us, a world first.
In fact, it was discovered by accident!
Using oak to age beer is unheard of. But, the flavours imparted by the oak barrels (previously used to mature bourbon) lend an incredible depth of
taste. Think vanilla, toffee and orange aromas, with a malty,
lightly oaked palate; soothing and warm in the finish.
There is nothing like this among mass produced beers.
Try it and see for yourself..."

Well the normal 330ml bottles of this beer are normally around the £1.90 mark, these are the massive 750ml bottles, it's not a cheap beer(well, it is at this price) but you get what you pay for, it's lorverly:)

Innis & Gunn, Oak-aged Beer (Scotland)
One of the most innovative products in the beer market today, this Edinburgh ale is aged in brand new malt whisky barrels, made from American oak. The colour is a glowing gold, with a creamy head. On the nose it is intensely aromatic, with really fresh, grassy hop character and quite a deep, almost briney note. The oak influence is more noticeable on the palate, where a luscious vanilla and caramel note permeates the beer. This adds an unguent sweetness on the mid palate, but the freshness of the hops cuts through and the acidity is clean in the finish. I thought this beer was delicious. 6.9% ABV, 33cl, £1.69, Asda, Luvians, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Sainsbury's, Tesco.

tesco have the 330ml for £1.37 a bottle, and asda have 4 x 330ml on offer for £5.

Not tried it myself, but will give it a go:thumbsup:

The one in the picture is a discontinued line in that store.

Other stores vary what they have discontinued, for instance i got St Helliers Pear Cider & another cider for half price on discontinued.
