Heated. I have this one on 'preorder'. Though whether they will ever materialise is another matter as though still a lot for a GPU IMHO, and pushing the absolute top end of what i'd personally pay for ANY graphics card (wouldn't even normally spend this much but these cards are supposed to be amazing), the price is technically extremely cheap for this specific card as I believe it is £600+ everywhere else....

and BTW this isn't a repost the earlier post was for the X3, which is only about £10 less than this. If you gonna blow this much anyway might as well spend that bit extra for the better cooling....

Yeah not sure why people would vote hot on the X3 but not the X4 for £10 more. I guess people think it's a repost.

All these accounts being "hacked" constantly popping up with these gpu deals, it's getting worse

There are cheaper 1080s too from sellers with either 0 feedback or 1 feedback over 12 month ago

I stand corrected although yes would spend the extra on cooling although wouldn't buy this brand. My Dragon 32 is still quite modern for my needs although I hear the Commodore 64 is becoming much more popular.

But it has the beneficial effect of making Amazon's algorithms lower their price to compete, meaning you can buy direct from them at a low price. I've seen some things ridiculously-cheap as a result of this. In fact, I got a monitor as a Warehouse Deal for several hundred pounds less than it should have been this way a few months ago. Sadly, it turned out to be a lemon that had been returned for a reason.

You aren't 'buying' from them at a lower price as they unfortunately are smart enough to cancel the orders :( they cancelled my zotac pre-order once they realised it was £200 lower than their listing price

I'd imagine that's because it was a pre-order then. As I say, the monitor I bought arrived no problems. In stock items are likely to be sent out before anybody notices, especially with Prime or paid delivery. With something that's not in stock, they have plenty of time to see what's happening and cancel orders.

It's dead Jim!

The price has now been amended by Amazon, the subsequent 'alternate sellers' are now all showing up as 'Before you add, contact us as we cannot ship to some addresses'

I've been seeing a lot of this recently with Amazon - flooded with bogus sellers or what smells highly like fraud.

Is this deal going to be honoured and has anyone got any insight of when we shall be getting these cards? I pre ordered from amazon direct X4 and X3

I preordered a similar deal (asus turbo GTX 1080 for £450) and it was honored, they are delivering that one Tuesday. It took about a week from preorder time to get a delivery date on that one.

I just spoke to Amazon on this, I ordered Feb 6th and was told my order would be delivered by April 1st.

We'll see.

Not sure why the cold votes, cheapest this has been by a hefty margin as one of the quicker out of the box 1080's. The price is still the same as the OP.

No, but Amazon may be :-)

To be honest with Vega launching summer and the 1080ti launching in March I think 1080 prices may fall to this cost in any case.

I'll keep my order until I can see what's happening, can always return after all. Right now I think it's a great deal still.
