These make you fat and have more sugar in them than a can of coke...but they just taste so damn good..
#2
my kids drink gallons of this stuff but we don't have a sainsbury's anywhere near us!
#3
its a natural sugar which kids needs some of anyway as do adults

These are normally £2.92? Wow, what a rip off. Own brand is just as good.

why do people re-post individual items from this list:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sainsbury-s-top-deals-from-wednesda/801394

seems to happen every week !

BOGOF is nice, but nearly £3 for a litre of mushed up fruit, mental price. Make your own fresher tastier smoothies for less than half that.

Yes but you should also say that it's natural sugar NOT refined processed sugar there is a difference

Not so "Innocent", since they sold out to Coca Cola

I agree £3 is quite a lot and hardly ever buy at full price, but making it yourself for £1.50 would be hard wouldn't it? Just a small tub of strawberries would cost that much.

Unless you grew the fruit yourself of course!

The Innocent smoothies give you 2 of your 5 a day, rather than 1 of your 5 day (every 250ml) with the other brand smoothies. A complaint had been field with Advertising standards by their competitors and Innocent actually won, cos they proved that their 250ml indeed containd more fruit (2 of your 5 a day). Hence, I pay the premium to get a premium product.

hot hot hot. the smoothies are delicious, that is a fantastic price. and thanks for picking it out of the general sainsburys thread as I would have missed this otherwise.

Making your own of these is far preferable and much fresher, you use your own preferred fruit, low fat milk, low fat yoghurt and some ice, throw in the blender and there you are. You can also throw in a couple of multivitamin tablets if you're so minded.

HOT !!! Thanks OP... Love these smoothies....

if anyone can make their own 1 litre of smoothie for £1.50 then I'd like to know the recipe and where you got your cheap fruit from - that'd be a deal worth posting

threads such as this catches immediate attention rather than the general 'Sainsbury's/Tesco/Asda' offers, which not all the members would bother to go through.

Agreed, given how expensive they normally are, Innocent Smoothies just don't taste very nice.

Precisely.

Using Rich44's logic, we should all stop eating fruit, because fruit contains nothing but sugar. Obviously if you are on a strict diet (shedding body fat), then its probably to stay away from the simple sugars which fruit are rich in.

Innocent smoothies are a healthy way of getting some fruit in you.

top deal, may be a silly question but can these be frozen?

I went to my local Sainsburys in Kenton. They were selling them for £5 for 2. No buy 1 get 1 free.
