Think his is a great price. It beats the current prices of the top supermarkets who sell these for around £3. these are the 1 Lire types

I know its not convenient for everyone as some don't have a Lidl near them so please dont vote it cold on this basis.

I think all flavours are available too although when i went i could only see 3.

Enjoy & stay healthy ;)

Great deal - everyone loves smoothies! Heated!
#2
Not wanting to be negative here but ASDA have these on special al the time.

Dont forget to clean your teeth after drinking one of these, very very bad for your teeth, although lovely with a large vodka. Good find
#4
actually bad for you, its pure sugar and clugging down fruit juice causes diabetes (cos the fibre has been removed).

Still tasty but dont treat as a healthy option.

I thought it was crushed whole fruit from reading the packaging.
#6
Innocent smoothie is quite good for you. Its no concentrate and is litterally just pressed fruit. Some smoothies are bad for you but these are the better ones which is why they tend to be so expensive

Yeah the fibre makes you gradually absorb the sugars without spiking your blood sugar levels and producing insuline.

But i'm sure crushed fruit would not look like these drinks (I buy them) i'm sure a lot of it is filtered out. 6g of fibre per 250ml does not seem a lot.

What am I on about hahaha, I eat peanut M&Ms !

Even then, I think it's going to take a lot of smoothie and a poor diet to get diabetes.

But yes, lots o-fibre. All good stuff.

Hot, wont be getting any because it's the price of two beers but still good.

Also; apparently smoothies are so expensive because they dont class them as a staple or something and thus pay tax on them. Which is crazy because you dont pay tax on stuff like buscuits which are loaded with rubbish.

Fresh fruit is much better for you. You burn more calories eating the fruit rather than just drinking it and it's cheaper.

Might be a good price but I'm voting cold as smoothies are an expensive lazy way to get part of your five-a-day.
#12
A 250ml Innocent smoothie actually contains more suger (in the form of fructose) and more calories than a 330ml can of Lilt!
#13
if you prefer tropicana smoothies, sainsbury have them reduced to £2 also.
personally they taste as good as each other! i am drinking it now!!

yeah maybe but i'm a lazy man and like to have a glass of innocent every day to make sure i get at least some of my five a day! I remember last year they used to have a notice on it saying innocent gave you all 5 of your 5 aday but in the last 6 months they downgraded it to 2 out of 5!

Youve just voted cold as you dont like smoothies? Seems a bit harsh as its the deal price you should be looking at i.e how much you saving.
#16
cold!!!!!!
tesco HAD them on offer for £1 but they now sell at £1.89 original price.
#17
You will drink it as soon as you leave the shop as the queue is normally 20 mins long!

As far as I'm concerned, no part of your post is correct. Tesco never had 1 litre cartons of Innocent Smoothies for £1.00 as a national offer. Equally, the current price for them at Tesco is £2.90 each / 2 for £5.00.

Dear oh dear...diabetes is not just caused by eating loads of sugars. Yes a poor diet increases chances of diabetes but as long as you dont live off the stuff it will not cause diabetes. You could never touch a sweet and still end up with diabetes.

Have a read http://www.diabetesuk-awareness.org/

Interesting stuff here.

Love these but they ain't cheap and of course are a diet substitute - you should not be living off the stuff.

Glass of this with your (fiberous) cereal cannot be a bad way to start the day can it??!
#23
Bad for you?

I wonder how many of the people who think (and probably sadly tell their kids) that this brand of smoothie is 'bad' for them, are actually overweight/obese, do not excercise, smoke, binge drink, have high cholesterol/BP, use their car when they really should walk... I think the excitement and heat ratings on candy, chocolate bar, and fast food deals speak for itself.

Innocent , or Tesco own brand?

I am definitely not wrong that 1 litre cartons of Innocent Smoothies are currently £2.90 each / 2 for £5.00. However, Tesco own brand smoothies are indeed £1.89 for a 1 litre carton.

Tesco own brand smoothies ripped off the look of Innocent, so maybe some people don't notice the difference.

What a ridiculously ill-considered and self centred reason to vote a deal cold!

I've bought innocent smoothie every week for two years and usually go to Tesco to get it and it has never been lower than £2. The current deal is two for a fiver like its already been said. The smaller bottles were on 2 for £2 last week and i think they also sold the Innocent Orange juice (not smoothie) at only a £1. I
#28
These are £1.99 in somerfield including the 'super' versions whatever the hell they are, I can't remember.
#29
Just been to Lidl on Dudley Road in Brum and the innocent smoothies were £2.79.

Thats not very cheap.
#30
not bad price-i'll stick to the tropicano 2 for £3 at the co-op-anyone know why it wont go onto the kfc deal above this one ??

The only Innocent drink that Tescos have sold for a quid is the innocent pure orange which is nothing like the innocent smoothies.
#32
Asda are doing their own smoothies 2 for £2
