Any rechargeable battery rated at 2500mAh or above is going to be suitable for high drain devices like digital cameras. I don't know how good quality the batteries that come with this are but I'd say you'll be absolutely fine. Personally I use Duracel NiMH 2500mAh rechargeables in my camera and they last just as long as a top quality brand disposable.

Excellent deal!, ordering one for myself now .

I'm not buying a battery charger I can only use at night, what if I have flat batteries in the morning?

Er, so you are saving money?

Surely if you NEEDED two you would have bought two at the weekend?

Anyway, forgiven 'cos I like the avatar.:)

If you need that extra littl Oomph then Amazon have Duracell Supreme AA Rechargeable Batteries 4 pack 2650 mAh for £5.99.

Nice, just bought it for my Wiimotes.

Do not forget quidco - every penny counts.

i'm not sure what people are talkin about the whole overnight part! You don't HAVE to charge it overnight! I just think they meant that its safe to charge it overnight without supervision cos it won't overheat and blow up half your street etc! Anyways, was looking for a charger as well and it looks exactly the same as my Energizer charger! heat added!

Very good price, nice one.

It won't work during the day - it only works with cheaper overnight electricity.

I'm going to risk being called gullible by asking, "Is this true?". Only seems possible if some king of GPS was included (to know the correct time in your area).

It'll work at any time of day or night. People are just taking the P saying it needs to be night time. The charger will probably take about 4-5 hours to fully charge your batteries (probably a bit less) so you might want to charge overnight so your batteries a fully charged by morning.
#25
My first time so - thank you I ordered one for my DD and her camera as it's safe for her to use at night.

PS I did the heat thing too :-D

"Funny thing it seems play have spelt rechargeable wrong. Seems strange for such a big site"

seems quite a few "Good" sites manage to spell "rechargeable" wrong:

http://www.amazon.com/USBCELL-AA-Rechargable-Battery-MXAA02/dp/B000LV8YKQ

must be the the dang americans way of spelling it! (amazon.com)

or maybe not - check this UK crowd out:

http://www.rechargable-batteries.co.uk/ hahahahaha they change the spelling throughout the site

Its an overnight charger because it will take 8 hours to charge. And it looks like its only a 2 AA charger so your going to need a night and a day to charge the four!

Personally i'd go down the route ive just gone.... Bought 12AA 2500mah batteries off eBay for about £6. 4 AA 3 hour charger - £5 from Deal Extreme.

Just over £10 for 12 AA batteries and a much better charger. This is cheaper.
#28
Doesnt tell you if it cuts off once fully charged? Expect not at that price which means they wont last as long if you over charge them.

Basically you CANT use this during the day as the small solar panel on charger is constanly building up the power cells to recharge at night ,what part is hard to understand?

yes as it uses daylight as opposed to sunlight as most modern solar panel devices use now, voted hot and ordered another 100 units ,what with global warming "helping" improve the uk climate you cant go wrong
