These are great for keeping those pesky flies out :) They are not much good if you have UPVC windows since they open outwards, and if you use the velcro style tape then the windows might not shut. You can fix it to the inside of the window, but it will end up looking tacky after a few weeks.

Each summer i put a new set of these up in my bedroom, they work a treat.

At night i have my lamp on which attracts moths and mozzies, but they cant get in now- hurrah

They do these in the £1 shop but only 1 in pack.

Just what I wanted, I was up 3 times this morning from 5:30pm with 2 bees and a wasp coming in the bedroom (I think its the red alarm box next to my window that attracts them).

If they were all male you would be a homosectual.

If you were all related, would it be insecst?

Do you get a buzz out of it?

If they were prostitutes, what did they sting you for?

Sorry...back to the cell.:whistling:

Better value then.
Get 2 for £2 instead of £2.99!

I'm sure these were £1.99 when I bought a pack in Lidl last year.

Got one from the pound shop the other day. The mesh itself is good. Did not like the velcro tho - hooks were falling out. Tape is black (not so good lookin on PVC windows). Adhesive on velcro is naff resulting in the velcro falling off after ca. 5 mins.

You should be able to get them in white or black. I have white on my PVC windows.

Got these when they were on offer few months back

Im guessing that's what the velcro is for. Seems a bit of a hassle if your opening and closing your windows all the time but if you just have to do it a couple of times in the day/night then it would be fine, as long as the velcro stays decent. Wish they did something like this to stop the pollen from coming in, my hay fever has been horrible the past few days!

I once came back to my room one night, having left the window open and light on, to find 11 crane-flies on my wall.

I tried to find a chav repellent image and found this news piece. Had to share.
Anyone from the area? Is it THAT desperate?

You use velcro strips to hold the net up, to open/close the window you have to pull the net away from the velcro to get your hand through. Not ideal but better than a nightly bug invasion.

Another thing is they can gather dust but a light hoover cleans em up a treat.

Brilliant article! I particularly enjoyed comments by Cllr David Sargent, who said: “Most people disengage from politics, but they don’t realise it’s politics that can bring the likes of stores such as KFC into the area through local government. It would be nice to have a chain like that here, but there is a more moral issue."

Wow! Suddenly it makes universal suffrage appear worthwhile! :giggle:
