I know this isn't the cheapest price, but nowhere is offering the Wii for a great price but after the points and Quidco, i think it works out the cheapest offer yet.

Like i also said, look out for other vouchers available as well to make this is an even better deal, as there's normally loads of 750,500 points around.

thats 3279 points (£32.79) and £6.64 Quidco, if your a regular shopper in Boots thats an awesome price!
#3
I want a Wii for my kids but I think by September/October better deals will be out there ready for the stampede of parents getting ready for Christmas!

So I am going to risk it and wait a bit longer!

A fairly good price overall - but maybe only people who don't like shopping at Boots have seen the deal so far! Would explain the current temperature!! :)
#5
It's good price. The only thing I see that might be a negative is that the points can only be redeemed at Boots, which may or may not affect whether you see this as a good deal or not

I have heated it up for you, as it is a great deal if you shop in Boots anyway
#6
so would the price be £150.55?
#7
you still pay £189.99, once you take the quidco n points into consideration then its £150
#8
yeah this is good, i like your style
#9
hot!hot! im sooo tempted
#10
that's got to be the best price so far then! HOT HOT HOT
#11
nice one OP!

Why is it so cold. This is a good deal, heated it up a bit.

Final price is £183.34 after quidco and you get £32.79 in points. So only £150 if you plan to spend £33 in boots in the future.

John Lewis has them for £179, -£15 voucher from voucher page and £8.95 quidco = £155.

Yep, the John Lewis deal is best for straight up cash but it's out of stock most of the time but it's easy to find stuff to buy from boots and take advantage of the reward points.
#15
Of the two John Lewis has been in stock more and they restock way more often than Boots.

UFAG82 now gives you 750 points so thats another £7.50 off the cost... bringing it to a super cool £143.50 after the relative discounts!

Thanks for the code, i've added it to the title to make the deal better. :)

Certainly not a criticism, and definately not voting cold, but I continually fail to see why people deduct actual money values from Boots deals? At the end of the day, after this is purchased, credit card bills are received and QuidCo is paid out, nobody is actually going to owe their card issuer only £143.05.

At best, it's a £189.99 console that comes with £40-odd quids worth of underarm spray and shower gel! Not saying that's not a bonus, it is, and I lurrvveee building up my Boots points, it just niggles me when the trade-in-value is actually taken off a product amount.

Oh dear, must have got out of bed on wrong side today, better vote hot to make up for it!

I think the next wii price cut will stick for a while and that price cut will probably come in september. Considering demand I would guess they wouldn't have to go mad and it will probably be something like £149.99. I'm still amazed that nintendo can sell a slightly accelerated gamecube with a new controller in a stylish box for this sort of money and be in such massive demand.

I personally believe that gamecube --> wii is a bigger jump in terms of concept than the other two competitors.

Resident Evil 4 on the Wii I would say it the most immersive gaming experience I have ever played and my housemate has a PS3 and a 360.

IMO I think the Wii is far better value than the other two in terms of £ per unit fun even if it may not represent such good value for the hardware itself.
