Great price

I supect this is part of a push to sell as many copies as possible in the run up to christmas , then there will be a basic Blu-Ray set launched next year.
Then a Blu-Ray set with a load of extras and some different CGI a year later.

Lets see how many times we can sell the same film to people.

How much are they on their own?
Have the originals but want the prequels.

£12 each.

Are these the original versions or the remastered versions? Please say the first one as I can't stand some of the tweeks Lucas made such as Greedo shooting first in the diner.
#22
I picked up the original triliogy for £12 last week at ASDA as well as Planet Earth for £5. Think both deals were mentioned on here. Is the new triliogy worth £8? Hmm, not in my book, but it is a good price if you aren't still trying to pretend that they don't exist.

Orinoco1 - You get both the digitally remastered and the original cinema versions with the original triliogy.

£20 for 3 good movies and 3 absolutely terrible ones ain't such a hot deal. :p
#24
Super hot!

Heat and rep for such a great deal

Damn, I thought 15 for each was cheap

Oi! Lucas NO!

If I wanted to buy the same movies over and over again I'd have a labotomy, remove the sensible part of my brain and fill it with primeordial ooze ... much like the masses that watch X Factor and feed Cowel & Co cash via phone lines, week in, week out.

Just release a box set of of 6 movies and be done with it.

Saw this myself at the Blackburn, Lancashire store

As a bargain hunter says, this is just part of the 2 for £20 box set deal. Other sets include the Die Hard Quadrilogy and The Godfather Trilogy (Coppola Restoration version) and I think Baz Luhrmann's Epic Romances

True

I bought the two Star Wars sets..and also got for £20 the Quentin Taratino set (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill and Kill Bill II) and a Monty Python Box (Holy Grail, Lift of Birn, live At Hollywood Bowl, Meaning of Life and Now For Something Completely Different)

They have some other great sets....

Just in case anyone's at all unsure, these are £15.93 each from Asda Entertainment online, http://www.asda-entertainment.co.uk/elysium.search?search=star+wars&searchFilters=RFZEI2RlcGFydG1lbnQ6ZHZkIQ%3D%3D
