I'd take 'runs out' as ends on Friday 3rd.

So do we know when it starts so we can get there before it 'runs out'?

Go for it. You should ideally insulate up to 300mm, any more than this and the difference would be minimal. Be aware that many lights set into the ceiling require a gap in the insulation to cool them, could be a fire risk otherwise.

If you have only 75 or 100mm currently fitted (or no loft insulation at all) as many houses do, you will recover the cost of this in no time at all!

The Government funded initiative has been running for months - it's just that B&Q are now reducing the stock to get rid, as the promo ends on the 3rd.

Cardiff Culverhouse Cross denies knowing anything about the offer and says they sold out last week.

Isn't that a contradiction in terms?

They didn't know about an offer but they ran out already?
#12
they run out so quick cos bloody trades men wait on the doors@ 7am and buy shed loads, bit unfair to the general public. so basically get there at 7am and fight it out with them! lol
#13
Can anyone confirm whether or not B & Q will be getting additional stocks otherwise this deal is dead in the water....
#14

#15

I was in B&Q about 4 weeks ago and they had 'shed loads' but no sign of interest from anyone. This offer was originally limited to a few rolls each (i.e. enough for a large house - about 10 rolls I think).

Farnborough, Hampshire had about 200, 3 packs outside the store and more inside Tuesday evening. £3 for 3 rolls in a pack.
#19
Farnborough store has bucket loads, I know because I work there and yes it has started now & finishes close of business Friday 3rd April!
#20
Warrington has loads in stock, ive just been and got some.
#21
Slough has loads.

Yeading also had lots in stock - wished they told me when I phone them, wouldn't have had to go to Slough otherwise. Useless service at Yeading, but hot deal which makes the house warm and the wallet cool!

Negative. That is not the one.

I was told that you can't reserve/collect 'going going gone' offers - or even get it delivered from the store.
If you can find some and take it with you, you can buy it.

its 1st come 1st serve. Warehouses tend to get allocated ***** loads more than us little stores. but i know that some stores were selling it off the lorries as soon as it arrived!
