[FONT="Verdana"]I'm looking for an SDHC card like this PLUS I think there is a discount for the reseller as well - I'll see if I can hunt it out and include the link to the thread on this site.

Readyboost maximum is 4gb. This card would be overkill.

I want an answer to this question too...
#17
These were £18 before Christmas, shoddy pound :(

Don't forget that Class 6 simply means the card can sustain a minimum of 6MB per second - this is very (very !) slow.

Fast memory cards can do 20-30MB per second ... but they'd still be rated Class 6.

Yes, if it can outperform tha Sandisk. No if it can't.
You need to compare the Read and Write speeds of the two cards...

Can not find actual read/write speeds for SDHC Ultima pro but Read/Write speed of CF Ultima Pro are faster than Sandisk extreme III CF card.(20mb/sec for sandisk and 45mb/sec for Integral)
I have emailed integral for read and write speed and will post here.

Answer from integral support
"Our Class 6 card have a minimum read speed and write speed as below...
Write = 9 MB/s
Read = 13 MB/s
However these are the bare minimum...we expect our cards to reach 30MB/s but this would depend on the host device."

So I think it is similar to Sandisk which is 20MB/Sec(mentioned in specifications on amazon although 30MB is printed on card) also keep in mind that integral is 1/4th in price.

So Class 6 can mean anywhere from 6MB a sec upwards to what? 20-30Mb a sec if, not more?

Is it any wonder people end up not knowing what the hell they are buying when the industry goes out of it's way to confuse people at every opportunity.

Bingo.

to what? 20-30Mb a sec if, not more?

Well you'd think that a 20MB/s card would be marked Class 20 ... but the Class system tops out at 6.

It's a truly awesome standard :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Better not just as in speed but overall in general, reliability being important.

No point having a fast car if it breaks down lots
