Despite having LED versions of GU10s in my kitchen for a while they hardly do a great marketing act with the observation on the details of the product:

Fast payback - Save GBP6.85 per year, per 10 pack (on 3hrs/day, 14p per KWh) against halogen

So based on the £27.50 x10 price it will take over 4 years to recoup the cost and in my experience these will never last 4 years! Even with the price you have stated (which I cannot work out how to get) it would still take approx 2.5 years, Maybe I am missing something about the 'value' of LEDs now?

If I bought 2 packs would they still work out at this price or is it £5 off per order? Thanks. Heat added. Need to change 55 bulbs so need a good price!

Cold
The Mastercard offer is not specific to this product. I imagine that the OP writes advertising copy for high street banks too

The saving is £6.90 a year per bulb, compared to a 50W halogen.

Cost per bulb = 365*3*(5/1000)*0.14 = £0.7665

50W will cost 10x this so saving = £7.66 - 76p = £6.90

They are £2.49 each in Home Bargains and are very good ones too.

You are right it is per bulb, shame they are shooting themselves in the foot by stating 'per 10 pack' in the decription

I did my calcs more easily (45w x 3 x 365)/1000 x 0.14 showing £6.89 saving per year so you are right on the per bulb :)

Simple mAthmatics.. 5w is 1/10 of 50w so 10x saving.

At £1.50 each using that discount its a steal IMHO with the reviews

The one for home bargains at £2.75 is 340 degrees with no reviews

No point reviewing led straight away As I got some philips LEDs last years 16 of 20 have failed and tesco refuse to refund me

Just received... Very bright and come with a 3 year warranty if you register them..

Absolute bargain
